Fantastic stay in Belfast
Really helpful staff
Bonita on reception could not do enough to make my staff perfect.
Breakfast was really good and plenty of everything.
Great location Nice room with a view of the cranes room 606 Friendly staff Leona & Leanne who were quick to make up the additional bed that housekeeping had missed on our booking.
Lovely breakfast plenty of availability of items nice cosy restaurant.
Decent usual standard from Premier Inn. Centrally located and quite modern. A very warm welcome from the ladies on reception. Rooms were great to a high standard
Great hotel in a fantastic location, we were visiting for the Christmas market and was so handy. Family room was perfect, great breakfast and great value overall. Bettina on reception was really nice and helpful, will definitely be back.
Do not have breakfast. For 3 days the fried eggs must come out of shells with broken yolks covered in grease/water mix and made of rubber. Day 3 asked for freshly cooked eggs which were at least edible. Day 2 no hash browns or beans had to ask and wait 10 minutes then when they came out she removed a half full tray of Sausages! Day 2 just had delivery the brown bread was under heat lamp in kitchen as it was frozen! No muffins and a few bedraggled pain ochocolat.coffee machine had to be looked at by someone as it constantly said call operator. No good if you are having to be somewhere early.
Rest of stay up to normal standard and not had this problem before, and hope never again. Got another one booked in new year.
What an amazing stay at the hotel, great staff and service. Leonna and Leanne treated us exceptionally well. Thanks so much for looking after us :)
Great welcome from moment we walked through the door staff very welcoming. Room very clean and warm. Food great Leona and Leanne helpful and friendly.
Second stay but will be back location so handy .
Disappointed with poor cleanliness of public areas. Lack of staff resulted in long waits to check in and for bar service
Fabulous 3 days - first lone travel - what made it so fabulous was the amazing staff!!
They were run off their feet most of the time but were still amazing - thank you x
Great location, friendly staff, great breakfast. Spacious rooms. Everything went smoothly even though there were renovation s going on.
Clean and central staff very friendly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaron at check in was a pleasure
Such a lovely gentleman and the perfect manners
Very helpful and willing to help with with any questions we had
Great location and mostly friendly staff, although we were told we were “cutting it a bit fine” by arriving for breakfast at 9:40am? Breakfast was ok, although the scrambled eggs were watery from sitting there too long & utensils had obviously been cross-contaminated between the meat & eggs/other dishes!
The room itself was nice and clean, although it was bitterly cold over night and felt very damp in the morning as the heating didn’t work particularly well. There were also lots of building works going on there which we weren’t made aware of until a few days before our arrival… had I of known this, I probably would’ve booked a premier inn in the city centre.
Location is good. Work going on while we stayed. Only one lift working which was a disaster.
Atmosphere was lacking.
Staff left alot to be desired except for one friendly gent in the desk. Overheard staff members bad mouthing a customer. Toilets in bar areas were disgusting.
Check in was slower than slow.
Breakfast was poor.. Expensive for what it was.
Booked 3 family rooms only 1 was available when we checked in at 5 30 pm. Told we would have to wait or take double rooms which we did in the end.
Outside of hotel looks un-inviting however rooms were warm and fairly clean but not spotless.
Having said all of this I would stay here again for location.
Very friendly staff felt welcome and looked after the whole stay. Nice little bar and a good pint! Breakfast was buffet style and kept topped up regular.
Had a very rude encounter with staff. Firstly myself and many others hanging around reception on multiple occasions waiting for a staff member to appear.
Second I booked an early check in paid £15 extra for 11am and when I arrived I took myself to reception at 10.57 to ask if the room was possibly ready. I was told it’s only 3 mins to 11am and I should wait until 11. I went back 3 mins later and was advised the room won’t be ready until after 12 as check out is that time. I explained that I paid for early check in and am here with my luggage etc the woman told me the only option I have is to downgrade my room and I can check in early I agreed with a bit of hesitation and I still waited until 12.05 to check in. I was sitting directly in front of reception for this time and not one member of staff kept in touch with me or offered me a coffee or anything . The woman who I dealt with never offered to refund the £15 for early check in that I paid. She also was very intimidating and had a serious lack of people skills in terms of communication. Luckily that evening I met another lady on reception who was lovely and nothing but helpful. She took my complaint and actually advised me herself to write a review . I won’t be staying here again and definitely wont be recommending to anyone simple due to the fact that woman seemed to be head of reception and the way I was greeted by her was nothing short of rude and disrespectful. Don’t waste your money.
Situated a short walk from the main attractions on a quiet street. About a 20 minute walk from the main bus station. Building was undergoing some building work and we were notified of this prior to our visit. Staff, on the whole, were friendly and helpful (a lovely receptionist gave us some suggests on where to eat and Aaron the young breakfast server was also very helpful). Breakfast was free during our stay (promotional offer) and was the standard Premier Inn fare although the soda scones were outstanding. Rooms were comfortable, although a little chilly, and the bathroom was fine.
Had a very pleasant stay here for one night. We were going to the Waterfront theatre and the hotel was just a 10-15 min walk away. Its in a very good location as everywhere is within walking distance. The hotel is also situated on a quiet street so very little road noise. We checked in at 3pm and were given our key by a very friendly receptionist. We had a room on the 1st floor. Our double bedroom was roomy and also had a sofa bed . The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The only complaint about the bathroom was the bath was quite high and my husband found it difficult getting in and out after his shower. The bed was very comfortable.
We had the meal deal - 2 course dinner with a drink and breakfast. As our booking had included a free breakfast we only had to pay an extra £16 each for our meal. Maybe not the best, but we ate it and were full afterwards. However the waitress was so attentive and friendly that she made up for any shortcomings. As for the self service breakfast, we couldn't complain at all. There was fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cereals, and of course the big fry up. It filled us up for the rest of the day. We will definitely be back.
Overall good experience, the hotel is centrally situated within easy walking distance to city centre. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was as you would expect from a Premier Inn, good but best when freshly put out.
We only tried the Thyme restaurant once well we didn’t actually as 7.30pm on a Monday night it was closed 😳
The staff were all friendly but must give a special mention to Kris who is friendly, funny and went above and beyond to show us where to catch the bus to the city airport which cost £4.60 for two instead of a fortune for a taxi.
Thanks again for your help Kris.
My wife and I stayed in this hotel recently and all in all it was a pleasurable experience. The check in was smooth, the food in the restaurant was good and the staff really excelled themselves, as they were obviously short of a few bodies - but those who were there really went the extra mile in terms of providing top class customer service. I always forget to notice individual names as it would be appropriate to highlight their excellent service here; but they were all excellent.
