Hospedaje Panquilma / Tambo II — Warning to All Travelers

Do not book this property. Although the hotel has changed its name to Tambo II, the listing for Hospedaje Panquilma remains active on both Hotels.com and Expedia, creating a misleading and inaccurate booking experience.

I reserved a room on November 29, 2025, and upon arrival was told that the hotel had no record of my reservation and no longer operates under the name Hospedaje Panquilma. Staff informed me that the individual responsible for managing the Expedia/Hotels.com listing under the old name no longer works at the property.

Hotels.com customer service stated that they could only issue a refund after contacting the property representative, yet they have been unable to reach anyone. As a result, I was forced to file claim with my credit card company to dispute the charge.

This listing is inaccurate, unresponsive, and poses a significant risk to travelers. Avoid booking this property through Hotels.com or Expedia under any name.
