The location is extremely convenient, situated on one of the most well-known streets in the city. It’s close to the French neighbourhood, and the tube station isn’t too far away. The room is tiny, just as shown in the pictures.

If you don’t speak Mandarin or have access to Chinese streaming services, the projector won’t be of much use. They have a very convenient laundromat that’s free of charge, and it’s usually not too difficult to find a machine available. The gym is as small as the rooms, but hardly anyone uses it, likely because there’s no air conditioning.

Breakfast is the same every day: fried rice, noodles, eggs, chips, some fruit, and so on. Complimentary toiletries and two bottles of water per day were provided.

Convenient location with good amenities, but room cleanliness and smoking policy need improvement
The hotel has a convenient location and offers a good breakfast, along with a nice bar on the property. However, the overall experience could be better with cleaner and more well-maintained rooms and bathrooms. One major issue was the lack of enforcement of the no-smoking policy. I was woken up by cigarette smoke coming from someone smoking outside my room on the second floor, which was very unpleasant. It would be helpful if smoking were strictly prohibited in public areas and near guest rooms to ensure a more comfortable stay for all guests.

All the staff were incredibly attentive, which made our stay very enjoyable.
Special bonus for the iced lemon tea service on the rooftop and the thoughtful assistance all the way to our taxi at departure.

酒店精緻，設施足夠，裝修懷舊，但有現代感。辦理入住及退房快捷。職員態度可以，如有些親切感更好。忘記帶插頭，向前台提出，有插頭借出。早餐有基本種類選擇，味道不錯。餐廳早餐餐後，變作活動室，有小遊戲玩，如小型桌球，美式足球檯，戰鬥棋，還是供小孩子玩的玩具。酒店就在上下九步行街內，經小巷進入，指示清晰。會再入住。

I loved my stay. I was with my toddler and the staff was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and well taken care of. Breakfast was good and there’s also lots to do in the area, very walkable and lively. Highly recommend!!

This was a beautiful place with great staff. It’s clean and quiet. It’s affordable yet had all the basic amenities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The inn is next to the largest business center in Liwu. Everything is at your doorstep. It’s a mix of old and new Guangzhou which I really enjoyed and appreciated. I would definitely recommend and come again.

The property is old and dirty. The rooms smell of cigarette smoke everywhere. The location is terrible, taxis/Didi can not come close to the hotel. Avoid this hotel.

This is a very stylish boutique hotel. You go through a small street to enter but presently surprised with a welcoming lobby. Rooms are more on the modern style. Our floor has the Bruce Lee theme and decoration. The laundry room and the gym are a bonus. Rooms are clean. Hotel location is very convenient.

Really friendly and lovely hotel with great service especially with the tea floor. The location was fantastic as it was on a pedestrian street. Good food options and cafes nearby. Easy to get around with trains and walking.

Very happy with my stay, stayed here twice for 2 weeks at a time
Excellent, soft bed (did not try the Futon), amenities and internet provided, clean rooms Powerful AC to deal with the hot South China weather, despite Guangzhou being full of mosquitos in summer the rooms were entirely insect free and had mosquite nets or pesticide in case one left the window open, no power outages and always hot, running water, staff were young, nice and motivated and equipped with AI translators (Ive seen them work with Russian and English, I imagine German should work as well, cleaning staff always on time and always works well. Roof is accessible 2pm-midnight and has a tea and coffee bar, I recommend the lemon tea. Anything from the bar is delivered to the rooms by WeChat, which can also be used to ask the staff for support, which was happy to help with anything anytime (as long as it wasn't past midnight) Breakfast is alright, dumplings, fried rice and egg were my favourite, but the coffee could be better. Book in floor 8 and you have a great view from your window, otherwise you will most likely face the adjacent skyscrapers. The location is sublime, in the middle of the must see pedestrian street in the heart of Guangzhou, Taxis (DiDi Ride Hailing recommended) will get you anywhere cheaply within 30 minutes and Metro access as well as tons of restaurants, shops and local food at the square at the front door. If you order food with WeChat it can be delivered right to your room. 10/10

In general the overall stay experience was good. Staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was not too bad equivalent to the value paid. Only downside was perhaps no mini fridge in the room so purchasing fresh fruits may not be ideal as no storage. The area located is described as a happening and lively street but to my dismay it was pretty much a dead street. So hanging out in within the area for shopping is not ideal. Despite that the location of the hotel is located not too far from very nice popular areas: Yongqingfang, Beijing pedestrian road as well as fashion wholesale malls. All within reach in approximately 10-15mins via DIDI (china’s e-hail).

Will I recommend this property? Yes! Budget friendly that meets your basic necessity in a hotel. The property also has a 24hour laundry room which is super convenient enabling you to travel light; more storage and weight space for your luggage so you can shop more!

I loved the traditional Cantonese vibe of this hotel!

It was close to shopping and it was very quiet.
