Loved the location
I’m don’t recommend this for the price it’s over priced
Perfect lil place. Great location easy to get around.
Clean, quite exactly what I was looking for.
The only thing was the shower head and water pressure. Other than that I loved it!
It was like an apt. set up it with a communal and stocked kitchen and free laundry available.
Absolutely terrible. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING despite the description indicating that there is. Would never stay at another Good Hotels EVER AGAIN. Hotels.com should not host this property. Embarrassing third world BS.
Great location. I only wish it had more of an arrival experience- no desk, no desk, no lobby personnel - a personal connection help make an experience.
Great location cute room. Clean and comfortable. Just keep in mind that it is a walk up - I was on the sixth floor which I didn’t mind - but it is something to consider if stairs are difficult for you.
In general,it is OK
Upon arriving, I found the door to my room was clearly visibly damaged. There is no staff on sight so I contacted the number provided at check in. I asked to move to a new room and was told that there were no other rooms available. I stated that I did not feel comfortable staying in this room. Shortly after I discovered the door did not lock and attempted to send a video showing the door did not lock and my video and messages were then undeliverable. I was not going to stay in an unsecured room and without an option to contact someone for a resolution, I booked a room somewhere else. I attempted to reach out for a refund through the booking site and the property told me I would not be refunded because although damaged, the door locked. I told them I have video proof but was unable to share as it appeared the had blocked me. They denied blocking me however my messages have remained undeliverable. I was also told I couldn’t be refunded because I had not canceled my reservation however through the booking site, it says the reservation can not be canceled once you have checked in. Horrible horrible customer service- if you stay here beware; you may be expected to stay in a room that does not lock and is visibly damaged and be expected to pay full price!
Very nice quiet area!
Be aware - lot’s of stairs at the property - and no elevator.
Edith was so helpful and kind. The place was great, no complaints there but Edith made the stay memorable with her happy and helpful attitude.
Disappointing Experience – Be Cautious
Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing. There was a serious billing issue where our credit card was charged for something we didn’t use, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it, the staff insisted the error was ours. We had moved our car, yet they claimed it was parked in the back and charged us accordingly. It felt like they were looking for reasons to add extra charges, which was very frustrating.
The room itself was also not comfortable. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud, making it nearly impossible to sleep — especially difficult as I’m currently pregnant. The room was hot, humid, and stuffy, and despite informing the staff, nothing was done to address it.
Additionally, the location was confusing. The address listed on Google Maps was different from the one they provided, which made finding the place difficult and felt a bit suspicious.
This was supposed to be a special anniversary trip for me and my husband, and unfortunately, the experience was stressful and disappointing from start to finish. I will be contacting my bank to dispute the charge, as I do not believe it was authorized or justified. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious before booking.
The location is great, close to the train and everything is within walking distance. We stayed on the top floor the view was great. Beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood. I felt safe throughout the day and night. The bed and pillows are very comfortable!
As for the room itself, I didn't feel comfortable. The seats at the dining table and chair next to the bed were bad on my back. The toilet was hard to flush and the kitchen was right in the foyer, which is where we put our shoes (we take our shoes off and we don't mix shoes off and on areas). The paint and fixtures make it feel like a builder-grade home. Unworthy of its exterior architecture.
We stayed 4 nights but I wouldn't spend more than two nights simply because of the small inconveniences which add up.
Great little property. We enjoyed our stay!! Edith was friendly and helpful!!
this is a very nice walkable neighborhood
People with mobility issues should be told that it's not accessible. Stairs are too steep and the ground from the basement to the street is uneven. No love local TV or streaming channels. I liked the refrigerator and freezer in the common area.. Check-in was simple.
I enjoyed the walking distance to restaurants and stores
The place was perfect. Cozy, quiet and clean. The staff is unbelievably helpful and responsive. Every time I had a question, someone responded immediately!
We stayed at this location because it was close to Symphony Hall. The building is on a pretty and quiet residential block.
This is not a hotel; it is more like a guesthouse. There is no reception. You just receive a code to enter the building and your room. You have to pay extra for everything: maid service, luggage storage, early check-in, late check-out, and a $7 fee just to check-in.
There is a well stocked kitchen, and free use of the washer and dryer in the basement. There is no breakfast whatsoever.
The room is very tiny, and only had a closet with shelves to put your clothes away. There was a small sink, a Keurig, and fridge. The host provided $1 bottles of water and cans of soda in the fridge, but charge you $4 if you drink them.
The bathroom was so small that the shower door and the bathroom door kept hitting each other.
Other issues that we had were that the hallway light sensors didn't work well, so everytime we came back to the room, we were in darkness. The room door also kept popping open on its own, even when we had confirmed that it was closed and locked. It was very concerning, especially knowing that there was another guestroom right next to ours.
The hosts were also not helpful. I told them that I would ask Expedia for compensation for the incorrect mention of breakfast being provided. When Expeda called them, they lied and said that they provide fresh fruit, milk and bread, all in an effort to not appear deceitful. But Expedia compensated me anyway.
Great place!! Really recomend... i was kind of skettic at first. But great, 100% recomend!!
