Great place

It is nice property to stay. It got a good view over the valley. It is cheap to get a tuk tuk to city area. Staffs are very efficient and helpful.

Staff are absolutely spot on, on the ball, very friendly. The hotel is very clean, rooms have amazing views over the valley. The rooms here were some of my nices on my trip to Sri Lanka. Naughty Monkeys pay a visit occasionally too! Its little put of town but going downhill, ypu can be in the centre of Kandy by walking in 10 mins. Coming back.... get a Tuk tuk!

丘の上にあるので、部屋からの景色はよく、静かです。お部屋は清潔で天井も高くゆったりした気分で過ごせました。スタッフは親切でみなさん笑顔がよかったです。次回もキャンディに来ることがあれば泊まりたいと思います。

Hotel Cassendra was a real find. The staff were so lovely and really couldn't do enough to make my stay more pleasant. No question or request was too great or small for them. It is up a steep hill so.wpuld make quite a hike from Kandy but its maybe 300 rupees in a tuk tuk to get up. Very easy to walk down into Kandy however, and it also passes the viewpoint. When you get to the Royal park, there is a lane to the right of it and that ia a handy shortcut into town. It's honesly only a 10min walk. Rooms were lovely, really smart. Breakfast a little limited but it did vary each day and there was something for everyone. Overall it was just great value for money and nice to be set back a little bit off the main drag in Kandy.

人もよく、部屋も広く、冷房やシャワーにおいても不便なく、快適でした。
キャンディ駅から少し丘を登った場所にあるので、下りは問題ないですが上りはトゥクトゥクに頼った方がいいかもしれません。
そのかわり静かで、景色はいいです。

The room was spacious with large, comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had brought some fruit with us, and the staff kindly washed, cut, and even brought it to our room — a really thoughtful touch that we appreciated.
When we booked the hotel, we didn’t know there was ongoing renovation work in the restaurant — it wasn’t a huge drawback, but the lighting in the evenings was a bit unpleasant. The hotel is also located very close to the viewpoint and the lake, which was a great bonus.

Cassendra staff eere welcoming and helpful - even before I arrived. They helped me find affordable transport for a day trip and when needed were able to serve my dinner extra quickly. Wifi was touch and go but ultimately held for a few video calls. The hotel is a bit old but rooms are spacious and clean with great bathrooms.

The location is know to tuktuk drivers and the mountain offers amazing views. Its also very close to the best Kandyan dancers (5 min walk) and a view point!

A lot of mold in the bathroom. Generally out of date. Bed was comfortable.

Best hotel in Sri Lanka so far, I even took selfies with staff! If I’m gonna visit Kandy, would definitely will stay this place again. Thank you, hotel Cassendra.

This is a very clean hotel, nice sized rooms and public balconies in addition to in room (small) balconies. The internet was in and out unfortunately but everything g else was perfect! We woke up to the most amazing sunrise view

The hotel and staff were truly first class! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring stunning high ceilings and a fantastic balcony with a breathtaking view.

Although our stay was short, we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the hotel's charm and hospitality. The location was also perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to town, making it easy to explore the local sights, restaurants, and beaches.

A wonderful experience overall, and we can’t wait to return!

Cassendra is a beautiful property that feels more like a house than a hotel. It is clean and well managed. Cassendra had the best breakfast of any hotel we've stayed at in Sri Lanka.

This is my second time at Hotel Cassendra and once again it exceeded my expectations! The staff are incredibly fast and efficient in their service, always welcoming with a smile. The view is stunning, and the rooms are super comfy making for a truly relaxing stay. Highly recommended

I suddenly visited Hotel Cassendra Kandy and was warmly welcomed by the staff. The hospitality was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. Everything from the ambiance to the comfort exceeded my expectations. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Sri Lanka! I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
