Quiet place for a nice getaway. Everyone was so very nice.
I am in agreement with many reviews already posted: The Hotel was very cool and design beautiful, but it was not worth the dollars charged. Staff was good, but far from great. Waco overall was a disappointment, and other than Magnolia, I would definitely not had made a stop.
Completely underwhelming, overpriced and poorly managed. The shower didn’t have hot water and the “engineer” was a nice guy but didn’t have a clue. I was unable to receive a phone number for a manager to discuss. They were unapologetic about the lack of the managers availability. I expected a better level of service for $750 a night in Waco. Live and learn and hopefully you will learn from this and save your hard earned money for a nice hotel that actually will get your bags out of your car to your room. Ridiculous.
Definitely unique. Super quaint and totally unlike any property I’ve stayed in before.
We had a fantastic two night stay at Hotel 1928. If you’re a Magnolia enthusiast, this is a must. Staff were so kind and helpful. Room was beautiful and spacious. Food at all the on site restaurants was also phenomenal. Not a complaint to be found and I would highly recommend staying at Hotel 1928
The room itself was quite nice. The pillows for a king bed did not match. Pet peeve. The restaurant on the top floor needed baskets of blankets about for customers to snag one to use. Too cold to enjoy. Arrived right after a shower so the entire outside was unusable. A number of the cushions outside appeared moldy. Yes little things but what you pay to stay there they should not exist. Staff was quite friendly, perhaps a bit too open with their lives and the owners.
We loved everything about our stay at 1928. Everything to the last detail was looked after. It would have lovely to have had breakfast included in the price. Other than that it was perfect!
Our 1928 experience lived up to all that we thought it would be! Amazing service, beautiful room, comfortable bed and the extra touches eg. Bed turn over with cookie and water just made our stay so lovely. The food in all 3 restaurants/cafes was also amazing. It was also close to the Silos ( 5 minute walk) which was fantastic.
Awesome place! Highly reccomend!
Fantastic experience!! The brasserie was lovely, within walking distance to the Magnolia Silos, restaurants and shopping.
It felt safe, and it was quiet. The staff was very attentive and courteous. It was 5 Star all around.
Hotel from the tv show Fixer Upper the Hotel, went to the Magnolia Silos, they gave us flip flops, cookies, and water as part of the turn down when we got back from the Silos. Good at the hotel was great.
Had a great time. Staff was excellent
Stayed here to celebrate a birthday, I was looking forward to the rooftop experience but unfortunately it rained on Saturday with lightning and thunder so they kept it closed. We were able to walk out to take a few pictures. Which was nice, hopefully next time we can enjoy the rooftop.
Lovely hotel carefully renovated to stay true to character. It’s disappointing that they don’t have the Magnolia network on the tv, or at least let you see the hotel renovation show so you can remember all the neat details.
My room was on the back of the hotel and it could do with some soundproofing. We knew when the food deliveries and trash pick ups happened- all of which happen before the hour that that my family wanted to wake up.
Had a wonderful time!
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff. Very clean. The smell of the whole hotel makes you feel so at home. We loved it.
Amazing
We had a great time at 1928. The room was amazing and the dinning had some of the best food. We definitely. recommend this place.
Had a great time here! The only thing that I would mention is that my wife likes a firmer bed and she didn't like the mattress. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time here!
