Excellent stay overall
Pros:

Very nice rooms, excellent facility , very kind personnel, excellent and fresh food with many options. The all inclusive option has a great value for money. Highly recommended.

Cons:

No direct access to the beach.

Pros:

La taille du logement qui est très grande: 2 chambres, 2 salles de douche et séjour. Très propre.
Les buffets variés matin, midi et soir.
Plusieurs piscines dont des bassins pour les plus petits.
Le personnel très aimable et aux petits soins avec les enfants
La piscine privée de la chambre est une bonne idée mais elle était trop froide donc nous n'en avons pas profité ( séjour fin octobre )

Cons:

Les salles de bains dans les chambres qui sont mal pensées. Manque de ventilation donc odeurs d'humidité et pas de paroi de douche donc la sdb fini vite inondée si on manque de vigilance.
Chambres assez sombres mais ça ne dérange pas plus que ça

Cons:

Le bruit (proximité de la route principale très passante),
La difficulté a accéder à la plage car les autres hôtels plus en bordure de mer sont clos.
La première nuit, notre enfant a du dormir dans un lit de camp, mesurant 60 cm de large, très dure, totalement inadapté a son gabarit.
Le lendemain nous avons été changé de chambre et il a pu dormir dans "un vrai lit".
Nous avons donc été surclassé.

Πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο ξενοδοχείο. Οι χώροι του ξενοδοχείου και οι εξωτερικές πισίνες ήταν πολύ καθαρές και περιποιημένες, Το φαγητό είχε μεγάλη ποικιλία και πολύ καλή ποιότητα, Ειδικά τα γλυκά ήταν πάντα φρέσκα και εξαιρετικά. Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό.

Cons:

Η πισίνα το δωματίου μας είχε αρκετές ημέρες να καθαριστεί, Επίσης στο μπάνιο μας έβγαινε μια δυσάρεστη οσμή από τα σιφώνια

Hotel jest odnowiony i robi bardzo dobre wrażenie. Odnowione części wspólne wewnątrz i na zewnątrz w tym lokalne rośliny na terenie hotelu robią dobry nastrój. Pokój bardzo przestronny i wygodny. Łazienka czysta - w naszym pokoju nie miała tradycyjnych drzwi tylko szklane bez futryny ( nam to nie przeszkadzało ) Obsługa uprzejma i pomocna. Jedzenie różnorodne i przede wszystkim świeże. Ekipa od animacji sympatyczna, można wieczorem posiedzieć przy barze i się nie nudzić. W barze napoje ok. Lokalizacja mniej więcej na środku wyspy pozwala na wygodne dotarcie w różne miejsca. Hotel jest niedaleko miasta Retimno ,do którego można dotrzeć w parę minut autobusem ( kursuje co pół h ) lub długim spacerem ( ok 5 km ). Najbliższa okolica hotelu to ulica z hotelami, sklepikami i restauracjami ciągnąca się do samego Retimno ( miasto ładniejsze i ciekawsze niż Heraklion ;) Ogólnie dobre miejsce żeby spędzić kilka dni urlopu przy basenie i pozwiedzać Kretę.

Cons:

Mały minus za brak jakiegoś lustra w pokoju - jest tylko w łazience. Ulica przy hotelu może być słyszalna w nocy dla bardziej wrażliwych.

Good short stay
Pros:

The room was comfortable and met all our needs. The food was nice and there was a good selection every day. Staff were very nice and we had some good chats with some of them.

Cons:

The glass doors to our bathroom and also toilet near the pool, a bit more privacy would be nice 😅.

Family vacation at Zeus Ydoria Resort
Pros:

We were very happy with our stay at Zeus Ydoria Resort! The location was great—just outside Rethymno and only a two-minute walk to the long, beautiful beach. The hotel’s reception and dining areas were newly renovated, giving a luxurious feel. Some older sections could use a refresh but were always clean and didn’t bother us. Our room was spacious with a nice balcony and partial sea view.

The pool areas were excellent, with several pools, fun waterslides for kids, and attentive lifeguards at the main pools. The pool bar offered plenty of seating and a great variety of food and drinks—pizza, burgers, salads, fries, beer, wine, cocktails, sodas, coffee, and kids’ drinks—all day long.

The resort’s biggest highlights were the food and staff. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were fantastic—fresh, tasty, and varied, with lots of salads, fruit, and desserts. The staff were truly amazing: cleaners, waiters, bartenders, and receptionists were all friendly, hardworking, and welcoming from morning to night.

A special thanks to the animation team—Rico, Tekla, and Angela—who kept our kids entertained with fun activities in the Kids Club and organized games and events for everyone: water gymnastics, boule, table tennis, quizzes, bingo, and dancing in the evenings.

We can’t recommend Ydoria Resort enough and hope to return soon!

Nice hotel, not a 4 star though
Pros:

Pools are great and not too busy, kids pool is fab just difficult to get around as sunbeds cover all of the path around them

Cons:

Food wasn’t very authentic Greek and looked like they were catering for large groups so tailored to their origin.

Doesn’t have a spa as advertised. A few things in the description aren’t necessarily accurate.

Pros:

Overall amazing experience. Very clean, food was varied and tasty. Only downside is the beach was close, but there is no sunbeds for free. You need to pay to rent the sunbeds, as they are owned by another hotel. Service in the hotel was very good and prompt, they were very helpful throughout our stay. Definetely worth it if you just want a couple days of relax and enjoying inside.

Das Essen lässt zu Wünschen übrig.
Für All In war das Angebot sehr dürftig und Fleisch von Grill war trocken und stellenweise angebrannt.
Das Hotel hat 4 Sterne nicht verdient.

Un raport pret/calitate foarte bun!
Pros:

Un hotel foarte frumos, curat, cu piscine pentru copii si un progam foarte frumos si complex de animatie!

Cons:

Necesitatea unor minime reparatii la camere si putin upgrade la Kids-Club!
