Doors of the rooms when close sound terrible. Breakfast is almost the same everyday. Rooms Toilets may not be suitable for some people
Location is good and convenient The staffs are friendly, responsive and very helpful particularly Miss Moliy Qian Quan Xian and Elvis Jiang Quan Xian giving me very useful information for free travellers like me first time visiting Lijiang

The staff was helpful to guide us to jade snow mountain. Very clear explaining how to go with group tour. Food at the hotel is not bad.
We were shocked by no public transport. Need to take taxi anywhere. But nice to visit places. Only public toilets are very dirty.

I had an excellent stay overnight en route to my final destination. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The lady at reception was really helpful to point me to the train station instead of a taxi for my final destination- much more comfortable ride and much less expensive. She also arranged a taxi for me to the station.

The staff was professional and service was good. Tv is big and clear. Interior design is modern and cleanlooking.
The open concept of toilet and pantry. The hotel also does not provides othet toiletries such as shaver, shower cap. Most importantly, they do not provide separate shampoo and conditioner. Worst still, the temperature of water during shower is inconsistent.. sometimes colder and hotter even tho it is set st hot. The room is also small for a king bed size room.
Location is good and near places to eat. Staff Kiki and Jolie were very helpful!

Very convenient and very close to most of the famous destinations.
We could not drink a coffee because the coffee machine was broken.

This hotel is newly refurbished and renamed to Fairfield by Marriott since April 2024, everything so new, excellent facilites including a sky garden at level 3. The best of our experience was the front desk staff, especially Mia who saved us from the incredible stress trying to pay our tour agent in Kunming when Alipay transaction did not go through due to my Aussie bank card issue. Mia also helped us to booked the Lijiang Romance show with discounted VIP seats, this is a must see show with moving stage and real water fall effect.
The room was nice and spacious, we loved the movable mirror at the basin. There was welcoming fruit platter and 4 bottles of water per room each day. Twinning tea and instant Nescafe with creamer was provided, but very easy to buy milk from the mini mark 20m left of the Hotel. The hotel has the best herbal scented shower gel and conditioned shampoo, best from all our hotel experience. The bed was very comfortable, just nice and firm, as I do not like soft bed.
The breakfast was nice with decent variety, value for money consider for the class of hotel. Although more Asian choices with noodle station made to order, dimsim station, for the westerners there is an omelette station, variety of baked buns,toast & cereal station and coffee machine. We got our daily veggie and fruit fixed. The location is on big road Shangri-La road at the edge of the old town, boom gate is motion activated for drop off. About 400m walk to two street food, one on hotel side through a small lane of your left, another just cross the road at the traffic light and 50m walk into the small lane. The street food operates from 9pm to 4am, perfect for us when arrived late. We love a variety of BBQ skeward cooked on grill.
For those experiencing altitude discomfort as Lijiang is about 2700m above sea level, and the Jade mountain (lowest cable car stop) is about 3300m, can buy oxygen tank from the chemists, plenty along the road near the hotel. Around CNY20 per tank.

All I have to say is that we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms are big and super clean, comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect. Def recommend booking a chain hotel in Lijiang. Out of the hotel I've tried in that city, only chain hotels are reliable.
