Pros:

Personalet var fantastisk. Hotellet er gennemført til mindste detalje og rammerne gør at man føler sig hjemme. Som gæst føler man sig i centrum uden at det føles påtrængende. Vi kan varmt anbefale hotellet. Det er alle 5 stjerner værd.

Great location on the fringe of all the ancient Athens sights.
Pros:

This is truly a Botique hotel. The hotel is beautifully restored and if you like heritage refurbishments then this is a must stay.
Great location on the edge of the historical sights. Easy walk into the centre or catch the metro which is very easy.
Also the staff were really friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

Nothing to not like.

Un superbe hôtel atypique avec un personnel aux petits soins.

Cons:

La piscine était vide (en février) alors qu’il était indiqué sur le site qu’elle était ouverte toute l’année.

Eén van de fijnste hotels waar ik ooit verbleven ben.
Pros:

Het hotel is bewust eigenwijs, wel eens leuk om te ervaren. Er hangt een zeer aangename relaxed sfeer. Alles werkt digitaal met een app. Voor ons geen must, maar het werkt wel goed.
Kamers zijn opgebouwd rond een zeer mooi aangelegd binnenplein in open lucht, dat onwaarschijnlijk goed onderhouden wordt.
Onze taxichauffeur vertelde ons dat we in die buurt waarschijnlijk geen oog dicht gingen doen (uitgaansbuurt, restaurants, bars, ...). Niets is echter minder waar, het hotel is een oase van rust en in de kamer totaal geen lawaai ervaren. Aan de andere kant is Akropolis en Plaka op wandelafstand.
Personeel supervriendelijk en hulpvaardig.
Ontbijt is a la carte, bord per bord, zeer fijne gerechten en ruim aanbod.
Lokale specialiteiten ook. Top ! ontbijtruimte ook fijne plek om te vertoeven.
Onze kamer was een suite, ook met enkele eigenaardigheden (nog nooit een hotelkamer gehad met een screen met projector). Gigantisch ruime douche. Alles kraaknet.
In feite niets negatiefs te melden, en dat gebeurt niet vaak.

A few issues but overall a nice hotel in a good location
Pros:

Perfect location in a cool part of town and easy to get to the centre; a beautifully designed hotel with a gorgeous courtyard garden; calm and quiet (didn’t hear noise from any other guests); friendly staff, great breakfast.

Cons:

We had a few issues during our stay, which probably don’t usually happen but they affected our enjoyment and we don’t think enough was done to recognise that. First, everything is automated (entry, blinds, lights) and there were electrical faults which meant that all the lights came on twice in the middle of the night, and on two of the others nights there was a loud beep sound several times in the night, so we had disturbed sleep on 3/4 nights. When we mentioned the issues to the staff they were pleasant and tried to fix them but didn’t do any more to check if we were happy or offer anything to apologise - not a 5* experience. Second, the pool was closed because of a technical issue. These things happen, but communication around it could have been better. Finally, the staff were very friendly and quick to respond to questions but the experience overall was quite impersonal - nobody showed us to our room when we arrived, everything is automated with communication over WhatsApp - some will prefer that approach and it has its perks but it wasn’t our preference.

Pros:

If you are looking for a "feel like home" hotel this is the right choice. It is situated in a small side street, in Gazi district where there are lots of vibrant bars and restaurants. It takes about 15 min walk from the hotel to Monastiraki. The staff is amazing, very kind and supportive. The room which I had was spacious and very clean with comfortable bed. For breakfast there is a board of variety of greek food but you can order some extras , e.g. cereals or eggs. And for the farewell a surprise gift. My stay at the hotel was marvellous. I definitely recommend it.
