Excellent location, friendly staff, and a smooth, comfortable stay overall.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The whole process was easy, from check-in to check-out. We requested an iron and received it within a few minutes, and all our requests were handled quickly and without any issues. The property is located right in the city center, which is the best location if you want to visit Athens. Everything is close by, including the metro, all within just a few minutes’ walk. It’s a perfect destination for tourists, and the area is full of restaurants, coffee shops, and everything you might need. They also provided a hygiene set with essentials, which was a nice touch.

Cons:

The doors are not very well insulated, so you can hear people in the corridor when they enter or leave their rooms. The doors were also a bit squeaky. The bathroom occasionally had a slight smell, but nothing that made the stay uncomfortable.

Fabulous staff, immaculately clean rooms
Pros:

Fabulous property, in an amazing location - just a few minutes from the metro station, so very easy to get from the airport for our short stay.

Cons:

I would have liked to have powdered milk to have with my tea - but I didn’t ask (if I had they would probably have provided them - they were so helpful).

Amazing staff and location, with some room for improvement.
Pros:

We had a very good stay at Athens Icon Collection, mainly thanks to the fantastic staff — friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. They kindly had our room ready very early, which allowed us to drop off our belongings, something we really appreciated.

The location is unbeatable, right on Ermou Street, making it perfect for shopping, sightseeing, and getting around Athens. Our room had a balcony overlooking Ermou Street, which was a great feature and added to the overall experience.

We also needed to book an additional night during our stay, and this was handled effortlessly by the team, which was excellent.

Overall, a great choice for location and service, with a few details that could be improved to make it truly outstanding.

Cons:

One area that could use improvement is cleanliness. Our bedsheets had some staining, and the bathroom did not feel as clean as expected. Paying a bit more attention to this would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Because of the central location, it does get quite loud at night. Light sleepers should be aware that the noise can make sleeping difficult, although the hotel does thoughtfully provide earplugs.

The rooms are on the smaller side, with limited space for large luggage (at least in our room).
