Great location in cute little village, friendly and welcoming hosts who met me at their local coffee shop and took me to the house to check in. Lovely big kitchen with all the amenities, everything is well thought out to cook in the evenings/mornings! Amazing views from the windows of the dining area, everywhere was warm, the bathrooms were all clean and modern. My room was a small single downstairs and it was very warm and close to the shared bathrooms! Would definitely recommend to others if you want a relaxed stay to be able to do your own thing!
The other guests I was sharing with were very noisy upstairs in the room right above mine so that kept me awake overnight but that is nothing to do with the hosts! Overall I accept these small issues when choosing to stay in a shared guesthouse!
The location was very central in town. We had a suite on the top floor with a spectacular view of the water.

L'établissement ne prend pas en compte les familles dans l'attribution des chambres. On s'est retrouvés avec 2 chambres tres éloignées alors que nos enfants sont assez jeunes.
2eme chose : 2 chambres sont collées à la pièce commune de repas. Très bruyant le soir et le matin ! Évidemment nous avions l'une d'elle.
La cuisine mériterait de renflouer son équipement.
Borgarnes is a small town so this property allows you to walk to restaurants etc easily. Comfy place to stay with a great kitchen area with views across western Iceland.

Super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, dining room that looked out across the water to hills and autumn colours, it was also a good place to chat to others staying there. Very quiet at night. Close to the Settlement Museum - THE place to visit in Borgarnes.
2 little things - the kettle that you had to hold down the switch on to get it to boil, and there was no sign outside, so had to confirm I was at the right place by using the photos on Booking.com.

Large space, great view and the cakes & pies in the cafe are the best we’ve had in Iceland
Small kitchen and 3RD floor was not private space like it doesn’t have a lock in the 3RD floor so you would feel a bit insecure about it
Nice hotel on a quiet street with a restaurant and coffee shop nearby. Has a kitchen and dining area upstairs. There is a balcony off of the dining room where I was able to see auroras without leaving the building
