The property was located close to the train station, the market and restaurants.
We had booked two double rooms but when we checked in one of us was given a triple I.e. three single beds.
We had just finished the Inca trail and arrived in the rooms ready to have a warm shower, only to find the showers were cold. When we whatsapped reception we were told to wait 15 minutes; after waiting 30 minutes we gave up and had a cold shower.
In thy evening we came back from dinner and tried to buy a bottle of water. They couldn’t charge us on card because they had turned the WiFi off. This was at 21:00. We went upstairs to watch some TV and unwind to find the smart TVs not working because there was no WiFi. When we contacted reception they told us that the WiFi was down across the village. This was incorrect because we saw the WiFi router being turned back on only 15 minutes earlier. We also found no hot water again.
About 45 minutes later the WiFi returned magically.
The next morning when we checked out the person on reception barely made eye contact to the point where I had to ask if we were good to leave.
Very disappointed as our entire trip in Peru we had experienced nothing but warm hospitality and nothing has ever been too much trouble.
Estaba bien
No andaba el wifi
Almost everything was fine
No elevator to 6th floor
After two days of cold accommodation in Cusco, the conditions here are simply amazing. It takes about 3-5 minutes to walk from the boarding location. I walked over from the hydroelectric power station, there's no need to walk to the train station. I think the best two points are:
1, The shower water is very hot and rushing. This is very important for clearing fatigue.
2, For this price range, breakfast is very plentiful.
Although some people have mentioned being close to the river and hearing the sound of rolling water, I, who am sensitive to sound, may not have considered it a problem because I was too tired to walk over.
