Tekrar tercih edebileceğim, temiz ve güzel bir otel

Konumun metro ve tramvay gibi toplu taşıma istasyonlarına çok yakın olması, odalarının modern, sessiz ve temiz olması son olarak açık büfe kahvaltısının zengin olması

Gut genug für eine Nacht
Pros:

Frühstück war ausreichend, zumindest was Körner, Joghurt, Obst, Müsli angeht. Aufschnitt und Käse äuuserst dürftig, immer die gleiche Auswahl. Rührei, Würstchen, Bohnen, Speck waren gut. Große Kaffee - und Teeauswahl, insgesamt musste man nicht hungrig vom Frühstück aufstehen. Das Personal an der Reception war bemüht, eine große Ausnahme war Nadine - freundlich, kompetent, geduldig und wirklich auf Zack, dafür ein großes Dankeschön. Unser Wunsch nach zwei getrennten einzelnen Decken wurde prompt erfüllt, Dankeschön. Für die Lage des Hotels spricht die sehr naheliegende UBahn-Station, in 5 Gehminuten kann man sie erreichen. Die Pflegeprodukte im Bad sind eine tolle Sache, alles vorhanden, Shampoo, Duschbad, Seife, Bodylotion.. ganz toll. Unser Zimmer hatte elektrische Jalousien, das war sehr angenehm.

Cons:

Insgesamt ist das Hampton by Hilton mehr Schein als Sein. Im kleinen Zimmer keine Schränke, kaum Verstaungsmöglichkeiten für Bekleidung und Schuhe. Das Bett für zwei Personen knapp bemessen, der glatte Lakenstoff lässt einen entweder aus dem Bett oder in die Mitte rutschen, eine riesige, kaum zu bewältigende Zudecke geht einfach nicht für zwei Personen. Im Bad keine Möglichkeit, das Handtuch nach dem Abtrocknen aufzuhängen, ein kleiner Haken neben dem Waschbecken, der Griff zu Duschkabine kann genutzt werden, eine zweite Person hat dann aber keine Möglichkeit mehr. Die Lage unseres Zimmers zur Strasse war eine Zumutung, der Strassenlärm ist derart laut, dass Ohropax Pflicht ist. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr laut, dass alle Zimmertüren mit einem sehr lauten Knall ins Schloss fallen, zudem hört man jeden Schritt aus den umliegenden Zimmern. Die Frage nach einer Kofferwaage am Abreisetag hat dann leider das eher negative Bild abgerundet... ja, Waage gab es, nur leider defekt, was dem hilflosen jungen Mann an der Reception nicht auffiel, erst nachdem ich ihn darauf hinwies. Frage nach einer zweiten Waage wurde mit einem Schulterzucken beantwortet, schlussendlich haben wir dann am Flughafen unser Gepäck ausgewogen, um das Gewicht zu verteilen und unser Freigepäck nicht zu überschreiten. Im Foyer, welches gleichzeitig als "Frühstücksraum" dient, keine Mülleimer.
