Good base for exploring downtown Cairo.
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable. Pool area was nice to have.

Marvellous views of the Nile from the roof terrace. And we could just about see the pyramids.

Dokki station is only a 10-minute walk.

Contrary to other reviews we found the staff friendly and helpful.

We got late check out for $20.

The restaurant food was reasonably priced (for a hotel) and good.

Cons:

Service in restaurant was a bit slow and breakfast nothing to write home about. But this did not detract from our staff.

Pros:

En lo personal la habitacion no era mala pero tampoco fue la manejor, al final tuvimos problemas con entregar la habitacion porque mencionaban que habia una cobija sucia la cual nosotros notamos desde nuestra llegada , pero nunca se nos dio por tomar foto.
Al ingresar de nuestros recorridos nos hicieron esperar en recepcion sin explicacion alguna.

The staff were wonderful and very kind to us as a family. They changed our rooms to a more family-friendly hotel apartment. This was wonderful of them and we appreciate it very much. They are very cooperative and fulfill our requests quickly and professionally.

We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!
Pros:

I usually don’t write long reviews, but this hotel truly deserves it. I travelled with my Norwegian husband and our children, and we all had such a great time. Everything was fantastic – from the staff to the food to the pool.
The staff were the friendliest we met in all of Egypt from Mr. Michael at the reception, to the restaurant team, the shisha man at the 18th floor café, and the café waiters. Everyone was kind and welcoming. I’m Egyptian myself, and I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I’m not very good at remembering names, otherwise I would thank even more people as they all deserve it.
The food was delicious, and the view and drinks at the 18th floor café were amazing. The pool was clean and peaceful, and we really appreciated being able to order food and drinks there. The staff by the pool were also very attentive.
The breakfast was great too, and the breakfast staff were always smiling and helpful. The hotel had a calm and relaxing atmosphere – perfect for families.

Cons:

If I have to mention something small, it would be that they could clean a bit better under the beds. But the room was cleaned every day if we used the “clean my room” sign, with fresh bed sheets and new mineral water bottles.

ON OUR GLOBAL MARCH TO GAZA,THIS PLACE WAS A HAVEN!!!
Pros:

Location, friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and exceptional breakfast

Cons:

The building is a little confusing to get to the breakfast area, there could be a note on the elevator but just ask at the reception.

The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was nice and clean, and the restaurant food was good for breakfast and lunch. Also, we enjoyed the pool, and the lifeguard was very cautious

Lovely helpful staff, pleasant stay
Pros:

Staff super friendly and ready to help you with anything, breakfast was really good! Lots of variety.

Cons:

Lack of privacy from the room, there are locals living on the roof, their rooftop kitchen and cleaning themselves was my direct view..
