A large family house that is being re-purposed into a hotel.
Pros:

The location was good, you could walk into Kandy in 20 mins or Tuk Tuk for 200-250SLR. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good, although they should let you know your options. The views were quite good, however, “ lake view” is stretching it a bit! We could just see a small part of the lake. Bathroom & shower were good. When we couldn’t get wi-fi in our room, they put a router into our room for us.

Cons:

They don’t have a Card machine ( despite Booking.com’s T&C’s)- so they require cash payment. The room didn’t look like the Booking.com’s photos. Some of the furniture needed attention. The air con dripped onto the balcony.

Slightly outdated but big rooms and good breakfast
Pros:

Big rooms! Easy location to get tuk tuk into Kandy for food. Nice breakfast.

Cons:

We had a broken and flooded toilet and had to change rooms to a smaller room without a view but still had to pay full price for the deluxe room (which was not cheap!). Rooms quite outdated and showing signs of wear.

Hôtel bien placé, chambre spacieuse avec très belle vue et pas très loin du centre environ 10min de marche, prévoyez la lampe torche pour le soir

Nous avons été accueilli avec un apéritif, le personnel est très attentif, nous avons eu un soucis de douche mais le réparateur est venu le lendemain. Ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous. Il y a la télé dans la chambre.

Prévoyez de l’espèce pour le règlement, ils n’acceptent pas la carte

Good for one or two nights
Pros:

The view over Kandy is great. The staff was nice and gave us some ideas for what to do in Ella.

Cons:

Rooms could be a little more cleaned up. The house on general looks very fancy but some things are just a little off. Missing glass / wall in shower, bed was broken, door could not be closed to bathroom.

All in all the stay was ok and if you like the great view over Kandy go for it.

Pros:

L'hotel è molto accogliente e rispetto ai classici hotel dello srilanka ha un livello di comfort piu alto rispetto al prezzo. Il personale è stato molto gentile. È disponibile il servizio di lavanderia ad un prezzo molto conveniente. La colazione era buonissima.

L'arredamento è un pochino datato e c'era qualcosina che non funzionava

Excellent choice to stay in Kandy
Pros:

I had superb views over the city and the mountains! The room was clean and spacious. The staff was super friendly, I even had a welcome drink. The breakfast was also very good. The location was also excellent with easy access to the city and nice restaurant nearby.
