I had a fantastic stay at Maniacs Hotel in Ortigia. The location couldn’t be better right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore on foot. From arrival to checkout, everything was seamless. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was spotless, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend!

Beautiful

A little Gem and close to the old part of town so easy to walk too.

We loved our stay at the Maniace Boutique Hotel and everything about it. The hotel is beautiful, the room was great as was the breakfast. The city of Ortigia is lovely and the location of this hotel, which is right by the sea, couldn't have been better. The beach was just a couple of feet away from the hotel and was fabulous. The staff was also great, especially Lorenzo at the front desk, and Sara in the dining room during breakfast.

Everything was excellent, especially the snacks with drinks and breakfast

From booking to checking out was an easy and smooth process. ALL the staff were very helpful, friendly , informative, and attentive. I felt it was in a convenient location-iyou can enjoy walking ,it's only a short 10 minute walk- by the sea or thru the beautful store and restaurant lined streets. The breakfast was VERY ample and delicious. We only had breakfast so I cannot comment on other meals but can only imagine they would be fabulous. ALL the staff at breakfast were
very attentive and accommodating to my sister in law's specific dietary needs as well Our room was SPECTACULAR!!! Sufficient space and VERY clean. The view ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING - great sunsets and sunrises. I mentioned in my booking that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and flowers and champagne awaited us upon our arrival. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing your stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Spectacular hotel. Clean, unique design, comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. Incredible service from all hotel staff. Practical and reasonably priced valet service. Delicious breakfast. Could not recommend it more to any travelers in Ortigia.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, from the room with an incredible view of the ocean to the artwork to the lovely breakfast. No detail is overlooked at this gem and the location cannot be beaten.

We had a truly exceptional stay at Hotel Maniace!

The hotel itself is luxurious, elegant, and elevated—yet it manages to feel warm and comfortable at the same time. This is due to the friendly and warm staff that work at the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Rachele, Lorenzo, and Stefano went above and beyond to provide outstanding service—always attentive, thoughtful, and gracious. They remembered us throughout our stay and even noted that it was my fiancée’s first time in Italy, which made everything feel even more personal and special.

As an unexpected and delightful touch, we were invited to the hotel’s 1-year anniversary celebration. It was such a lovely gesture, and it gave us the chance to experience the hotel’s hospitality in an even more memorable way.

We stayed in mid-September for 3 nights and used the hotel's valet parking (make sure to call ahead and ask hotel to register so you don't get ticketed by the ZTL).

This is an outstanding resort hotel right in the heart of Ortigia, the beautiful historic center of Syracuse, Sicily. The hotel is full of light and you'll be mesmerized by waking up with the azure of the sky and the Mediterranean Sea in front of view, enchanted by the reflection of the sunshine. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, attentive and kind. Breakfast is delicious. An absolute gem!!
