Everything was broken. There was no made service. The restaurant was closed and we were in the very area so those are expensive to tour around.

Pros:

I like the location of the property and that it is on the beach. The property needs to be renovated, and mosquito nets placed in bedrooms. I had mosquitoes buzzing in my ear all through the night and morning. I did not sleep well the entire time I was at the hotel. The doors are not sealed so it's easy for mosquitoes to come in and out of the rooms. I did like the food prepared for breakfast. However, it took a longtime to get the food. The waitress was not prompt and customer friendly. On Sunday the waitress was not there, and the cook was prompt and customer friendly. The staff need better time management when preparing the food especially when I put my order in the day before.

Restaurante cerrado, no había comida. Mis colegas llegaron antes y se cambiaron de hotel porque no había comida, el restaurante estaba cerrado, no había casi nadie en el hotel y el bar nada que ver con las fotos, por esa razón nos cambiamos de hotel y cancelamos la reserva.

Cheap and cheerful with added bonus of amazing beach but the place needs updating.
Pros:

VERY VERY beautiful spot, private stunning beach lovely olde world hotel with big room and bathroom.

Cons:

Was bitten all night with something other than mosquitoes only while lying on the bed to sleep. 🤷🏽‍♀️
The shower sprayed everywhere else other than the person in it. The toilet made an AWFUL LOUD screeching long noise when flushed. The plug sockets all looked terrifyingly hazardous.

Full kitchen/restaurant and bar on-site. Room very large, king bed and queen bed. Walk in closet and big bathroom. Free mosquito repellent coils. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Strong wifi with extenders throughout the property.

Cons:

The property flooded very fast in the rain. LOTS of mosquitoes. 1 towel and 1 tiny bar of soap provided for a family of 4. No iron, no fridge or microwave in the room. On-site food and beverage prices quite high.

Pros:

I had the whole beach (beautiful, crystal waters)to myself, what else do I need to say!
The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. Very beautiful location with easy access to the beach and to a bustling and thriving town.

Cons:

This is an energy efficient site so wifi and water trickled to a halt after 10pm.
Bathroom and room could definitely use mats for the sand and rods or hooks to hang wet towels and bathing suits.

Pros:

I understand the property has been sold and is on need of a llot update but they are trying just was very unhappy threeday no water a little bit of water here and there but I was able to go shower by my family but what if we did have family members near by.

Pros:

This trip was the most life-changing experience! I truly enjoyed the amazing people that I've had the opportunity to encounter. The sense of peace that I felt there is unmatched. I remember and miss the beautiful sunsets and long walks on the beach. The ability to get lost in the moment. Thank you, Jamaica! The surroundings allowed me the opportunity to dream in a stress-free environment.

Not bad, could be a great value experience if they iron out inconsistencies around catering.
Pros:

Has the potential to be a very nice resort. Quiet beach. Very nice balcony for dining. Jash ( caretaker / manager) could be a great asset for the hotel. They need to push events like Black River Safari and YS Falls et al and offer to get people there. Offers something very different to all inclusives. Staff tried to be helpful and were always courteous.

Cons:

Limited knowledge of staff of local events, eg trips to Pelican Bar, literally up the road. No knowledge of Crab Festival happening on the day we arrived. Poor cross selling , and lost chance to help us have an enhanced holiday experience and probably spend more money. They will need to upgrade property, but are apparently in the process of doing that. Catering needs to be significantly strengthened and systemised or people will simply dine elsewhere.
