Pros:

Despite the busy and sometimes intense streets of Cairo, this hotel was a great place to come to rest: Yousef, Nouran and their colleagues were the most kind people I ever met, always eager to help and answer our questions. The room was spacious and clean and the delicious breakfast (on the rooftop might I add) offered great views on the pyramids of Gizah. Thank you for the warm welcome and for being an example of true Egyptian hospitality.

Cons:

We enjoyed the possibility to book activities through the hotel but would not fully recommend it. Although it was well organised, we hope to have a guide who was more thorough which was a bit disappointing. This however isn’t a critique on the hotel itself as I would highly recommend this hotel and go back there

Great hotel, resturant and view!
Pros:

Great location with an amazing view. The breakfast was really amazing. You get three choices and they were even nice enough to make us a to go box on the early day. Best of all were the kind and helpful staff in both the hotel and the restaurant. Nora was really kind when she allowed us to check in earlier than we were supposed to.

Nothing.

The staff makes this place a wonderful choice, and it was a very good value for the money.
Pros:

Great view of pyramids from restaurant and room, excellent front and staff – – in particular Yusuf and Noora were very, very helpful in lining up tours, giving good advice on sites to see, and keeping our room well stocked and comfortable. They are both a real asset to this facility. Highly recommend the Egyptian breakfast.

Cons:

Rooms could use a bit more deep cleaning. Important to let clients know that the hotel is not in a really walkable area – – you really need a taxi transportation in and out, on the other hand, the facility is very well located to the Giza pyramids and the GEM. Air conditioning is set a bit high, but the staff is more than willing to lower temperature thresholds to your knee.

Bel oasis dans la jungle urbaine
Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement dont la vue depuis le rooftop sur les pyramides est juste incroyable !
Le personnel est à l’écoute et formidable. Le petit déjeuner est savoureux (mention spéciale pour l’égyptian breakfast qui est succulent)

Cons:

Bémol : Nos draps et oreillers portaient des traces, cela fait douter de leur propreté. Le wifi est peu performant

Pros:

Ik heb een zeer prettig verblijf gehad in het Spire West Hotel in Caïro. Het personeel was vanaf het eerste moment vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze namen de tijd voor je en deden zichtbaar hun best om het verblijf soepel te laten verlopen. Dat gaf meteen een goed gevoel bij aankomst.

Het eten was verrassend goed en bovendien goedkoop. De kwaliteit was constant en de porties waren ruim genoeg. Voor deze prijs krijg je echt veel waar voor je geld. De bedden lagen prima en ik heb goed geslapen. Ook de hygiëne was in orde. De kamer en de algemene ruimtes werden netjes schoongehouden, wat voor mij een belangrijk punt is tijdens het reizen.

Cons:

De locatie heeft een kleine kanttekening. Het uitzicht op de piramides is mooi en dat maakt het hotel extra bijzonder. Alleen is de ingang lastig te vinden. Die ligt in een zijstraatje en staat niet duidelijk aangegeven op Google Maps. Dat kan bij aankomst even zoeken zijn, vooral als je er voor het eerst bent. Daarnaast is cairo een hele drukke stad en kan het in de avond luidruchtig zijn door het verkeer buiten
