THE FRITZ HOTEL Amsterdam

One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because it had a mini fridge. We like to be able to keep snacks ,milk etc in our room. The mini fridge didn’t work and we asked to have it repaired or replaced and it was never done. We ended up having to throw out some food.

Great stay! We had a lovely room which was very tidy and clean with great amenities. Location was brilliant and staff were lovely! We will definitely stay here again.

Ideally situated in a quiet area to get around the city but still close to some eateries, also near the canal where trips leave from and tram line. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the baked goods and coffee were lovely too. Great shower and very comfy bed.
The WiFi key system was handy too. The only downside was our room didn’t have a window- not a biggie but think one of the rooms with a window would be better. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Great location opposite Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark and bike rental. Some rooms are tiny, so don’t choose the cheapest one.

Good location, small room. No access to ice makers or water fountain. Reception closed super earlier. All the toilet papers were already open and used. Very dim room, no overhead lighting tried to use the tv for lighting but that didn’t work properly.. we paid $/50 for one room and it was a waste of money , despite vicinity being close.

Every think in this hotel is good near to dam square and near to museum but the important problem is small space in som of the part licke washrooms or stairs but every think is good the room was good

There were spider webs on the light. The room was tiny and dusty.

The hotel is newly renovated and they even put an elevator in! Location is perfect, less that a block from the museums and only 12 min walk to red district and other turustuc places. The entrance check in is next to the hotel door at a cute coffee shop. People are so kind and helpful there and their coffee and treats are great too! Highly recommended for everything it offers!

Very well located, clean and excellent staff. Very small rooms tho.

Room is quite small but it has everything you need- washroom is very clean and modern. It’s on the ground floor and the cafe is right next to your room, as well as the elevator, so a bit noisy. You can always hear music far apart, not sure if it’s from the building next door, but you would still be able to sleep.

This is not a regular hotel. With less than 20rooms, there is no reception area. There are just small rooms nothing else. How can it be a hotel??? Got to check in next door cafe which opens only 8-6. The room was so small and housekeeping wasn’t good. It’s close to Rijksmuseum.

The staff was fabulous but our electricity went out in the middle of the night, so we weren’t able to charge our phones. The receptionist felt badly so she gave us two free delicious cookies.

Great location, very close to museums. Initial concerns about late check-in were unfounded as we received all the information in good time. Stairs were very steep to our room.

Anna at the front desk was very helpful. It was quick and easy to check in and just steps away from the Van Gogh museum and the Rijks museum. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and had all the amenities. Loved it!
