LEGOLAND California Hotel

I would like to report to you that our stay at the Legoland Hotel on November 25th was extremely disappointing. This was our first time visiting Legoland and staying at your hotel, but the experience was far below expectations. We were honestly shocked by how poor everything was.

The air conditioning was malfunctioning. We set the temperature to the lowest setting, yet the room was still extremely hot. We have two babies—one is 1 year old and the other is 2—and they are very sensitive to heat and stuffiness. The room never cooled down at all; it was hot and suffocating. Both of my children were so uncomfortable that they kept crying throughout the night.

The towels were dirty, with visible stains on them. It seemed like they had been used before and were not replaced with clean ones.

The baby crib you provided was broken. Because it was damaged, my baby couldn’t hold on properly while standing and ended up falling and hurting her mouth. Aren’t the cribs you provide supposed to be checked for safety? This was extremely dangerous.

The bathtub was clearly not cleaned. We originally planned to let our babies take a bath, but the tub had obvious dirt on it, which showed it was not cleaned at all. This is completely unsanitary. The toilet was also sometimes clogged and required several flushes to work properly.

Clean and kid friendly. Our kids 3 and 4 had an amazing time and it was great for the adults as well.

I understand that it was off-season but the entertainment was not updated to reflect that all indoor activities (only provided by the California Hotel) were cancelled due to it being closed. We walked all around the other hotel trying to get in to go to the Dance Party, only to find out that the hotel was closed. There was nothing to do at the Castle hotel due to the rain. We had dinner at which arrived cold and the service wasn’t great. There was no “magic” at this hotel. I paid for an overpriced and meh night stay for my son’s 10th birthday.

Very clean a lot of things to do very cute. Overall, my son loved it. We went for his birthday.

Over all our son enjoyed the stay because of the activities and park.But as parents,the hotel room has smell.The bathroom stinks. The carpet needs to have a deep clean.

This was one of the best experiences ever! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The buffet had so many options for both dinner and breakfast.

What a great stay, concept and hotel. The guest services was great, very attentive and was prompt on requests. I appreciate how they cater the whole hotel on kids and Lego enthusiasts (my wife). The proximity to the park is hard to beat and quite convenient. Would definitely do it again and try out the other hotel next time!

It was a great family experience. Buffet wasn’t anything to write home about but being walking distance to legoland plus the nice Lego decor all over the place was worth it for me and the kids.

Shouldn't charge for early check in. Seems like the resort made me wait until exactly almost 4:00 PM to check in, which was annoying. I understand if rooms aren't ready, but it seems like rooms were ready.

The castle hotel had great staff. They were welcoming and always there to support any additional needs as it arise. Each time I reached out they were there to help. The room was clean and organized.
