The shower was a challenge for us, as the shower screen does not reach the floor. This caused water to splash out while showering, leaving the bathroom floor very wet.

It is a little outside the town of Selfoss and not on the main route. The rooms were well appointed except the kitchen. We were a family of four but it had just 2 glasses/ 3 plates available in a 2 bedroom suite.

The instructions noted the property was clearly marked, but it was not. I had to call the property management company to locate the apartment and the lockbox. In addition, when we arrived the hot tub was drained so I had to call to get instructions to fill it. The apartment is beautiful but does not have a kitchen as it appears in the listing. For a family of 4, we were only provided 2 towels. They did supply bath and body products which was a wonderful surprise. There is ample parking at the unit and the beds were comfortable. The property is conveniently located to several tourist sites and Selfoss.

We rented a 2 bedroom and a suite. They were both great. Really comfortable beds, and plenty of room. Would have been nice to have more of a kitchen area. Communication was a little difficult and the instructions which stated they apartments were clearly marked were wrong on both of the units. We figured it out easily and quickly though. We didnt expect that we would need to fill our own hot tub, once we figured that out though it wasn’t a problem - just need a little time and the water from the hose is really hot! All in all it was a perfect first night for our ring road trip!

Pros:

The room was pristine, area is quiet and isolated. Great value for a spacious room. Only issue were the gnats, which can be a problem all over Iceland, just need bug spray outside.
