Pros:

Very good location, close to the village center, beach, tavernas and shops, all quickly accessible by foot. Very nice host. The hotel is a bit basic, ok for 1 night. The hotel has great potential but the rooms need to be modernized.

We can’t comment on the breakfast as we decided not to stay for the following reasons:
- air conditioning was not working properly (we asked for help but the lady was filling in and couldn’t help)
- the bed’s mattress was far too hard (I have issues with my back so that was a non-starter, might not bother other people)
- reception and the corridor to our room reeked of smoke
- parking was advertised and when we were asked where we should park we were told we couldn’t on the drive next to the hotel but that all streets were free parking (no spaces that we could see that wouldn’t block other hotel entrances).
Yes the price is low, however we managed to find a comfortable room nearby for only a few euros more.
The only advantage we could see to this hotel was its central location but the walk from the other hotel was only five minutes more.
We booked this hotel based on its excellent reviews but really don’t understand why they were so good.
When we left there was no one on reception to explain why we decided to leave. There were named envelopes presumably for other guests so it looked like there wouldn’t be anyone coming back.
We can’t recommend staying here.

Pros:

Hotel très correct à distance de marche immédiate de la plage et des restaurants. Bon état des chambres. Salle de bain un peu petite.
Le parking indiqué n'existe pas vraiment, il s'agit de la rue de l'hôtel... Il y a un parking à proximité immédiate mais à 5€ par jour

Pros:

Ist total süß, recht klein, das Bad ist der Hammer, total neu, aber, wie so oft ist die Matratze heftig und man spürt die Federn durch.
Wen das nicht stört, ist dort gut aufgehoben.

Super hyggeligt familiehotel
Pros:

Hotellet ligger perfekt når man vil besøge Matala by eller vil bade på Matala strand. Værtsparret er helt fantastiske og ved ikke alt det gode de skal gøre for deres gæster. Der er en super god atmosfære og der er en dejlig have man kan sidde i, både når man skal spise morgenmad eller slappe af i løbet af dagen. Der ligger en overvåget parkeringsplads 50 meter fra hotellet, hvor vi gav 5 euro i døgnet for at holde.
Kan kun varmt anbefale hotellet.
