This little hotel is such a gem right on the bay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were staying in the shadow of Morro Rock. One of the best surprises was the wellness area — a sauna with therapy light and a cold plunge. Totally unexpected and such a cool touch.

Our room wasn’t directly on the water, but it hardly mattered. There’s a spacious patio with ocean and bay views, complete with tables where we brought our dinner (partly covered by the free gift certificate we were handed at check-in). Watching the sunset from there was perfect.

The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, always helpful and welcoming. The hotel also has its own restaurant and a bayfront bar with a wide menu and great happy hour prices, so you never really need to leave. On top of that, they surprised us with complimentary wine and chocolate — such a thoughtful detail.
