An amazing hotel that made us feel like home. The team is simply amazing: Islam, Mohammed and the rest of the team took care of us and we felt super grateful.

Also, try to have dinner there at least one night. It's super tasty! And if you have celiac desease, just let them know and they will adapt :D

The location is perfect for us: on the other side of the river were you can find all the hotels, perfect to stay away from this tourist hotspots and enjoy the magic of Luxor.

L'accueil incroyable réservé par le staff, le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours disponible pour vous aider à organiser votre séjour ou des excursions, la nourriture est délicieuse (nous avons dîné là bas et pris deux petits déjeuners), la chambre est très agréable et c'est très propre ! Un merci à tout le staff et tout particulièrement à Islam et Ahmed qui ont vraiment rendu notre séjour à Louxor assez magique :)

Great place for staying in Luxor! We really enjoyed the excellent service from the staff, with a special shout-out to Islam for his incredible hospitality and for taking care of everything we needed.
The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, high-quality, and the portions were more than generous. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Luxor!

Located directly at the Nile with a great view. Our hosts Islam and Ahmed were very nice and always helpful.
Best Egyptian food we ever had

The staff were super kind and helpful and sorted everything for us that we needed, Ahmed on reception even offered to post our postcards for us as we had run out of time to find to a postbox. We liked staying on the West Bank where it was a bit quieter, and the hotel was very helpful in organising boats for us to cross to and from the East Bank when we'd been exploring.

We had a beautiful time at Neferu Stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and you have a beautiful view on the river Nile.

But the best about the accomodation is the lovely staff. Special thanks to Ahmed for making us feel like at home. And special thanks to Islam for serving us the best breakfast ever!

We loved the location, despite the works that were going on outside the hotel. The West Bank of the Nile is a developing area and so some noise and dust is inevitable but these are more than made up for by the feel of the place - so much nicer than the chaos that is the East Bank - and the manager, staff, facilities and food. Nothing was too much trouble and their support absolutely made our stay fantastic. The breakfast was amazing as were the dinners on the roof terrace with a panoramic view of the Nile and the lit-up East Bank beyond. Sitting on our Nile view balcony watching the world go by was fantastic. The mix of camels, tuk-tuks, vans, donkeys and carts and motorbikes all heavily laden with families, alfalfa for the donkeys, general supplies, building supplies, groceries and other goods for sale and much more. Add to all of this the Nile itself with all the busy river traffic going past and calling at the hotel jetty, the vibrancy and honesty of the area and we were never bored! Last but by no means least, the wonderful people that made things so special - Islam, Hassan, Mohammed, Ahmed, the chef and all the others - we felt part of a lovely family and will definitely stay again when in Luxor...

Das Hotel war sehr behilflich bei der Planung von Ausflügen. Außerdem konnten wir unser Zimmer noch bis abends 18:00 Uhr behalten und selbst das Schwimmbad noch an dem Nachmittag des Abreisetag nutzen.
Super leckeres Frühstück, und die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Nil ist grandios.

Neferu Stay is a little gem! Small but with good sized rooms, fantastic staff and the best food! The West Bank is quieter than the east side of the river, with far fewer pushy traders, making it a more relaxing vibe.
There is a lot of work going on along this part of the West Bank of the Nile, so first impressions are a bit “Oh!”, but don’t be put off as this little hotel is perfect.
You won’t get a warmer welcome. The rooms and en-suite are a good size and we had a room facing the river with an excellent balcony.
The pool is small but fine for a splash about, but a bit cold still for us! But plenty of sun beds and shade if you need it.
Where to start with the food! Islam must be the best chef on the West Bank! I would challenge anyone to finish all the delicious food he provides. Breakfast was included and the dishes just kept coming - breads, rolls, croissant, falafel, fresh salads and fresh fruits, omelette, cheeses. If you choose to have dinner, it is extra and there is no menu to select from but just choose, fish, chicken or beef and enjoy the incredible selection of dishes that appear. .
All the staff including housekeeping seem really proud of their hotel and they should be.

Ottima colazione, staff estremamente gentile, disponibile e simpatico. Magnifica veduta sul Nilo e Luxor. Ideale per la Valle dei re e tutte le tombe. Fatevi portare a Medinat Habu (una vera scoperta!) tempio bellissimo e con pochi turisti. Per raggiungere Luxor e Karnak si prende la barca davanti al B&B e in 5 minuti si è sull'altra sponda. In posizione tranquilla e con ottimi ristoranti. Siamo stati molto bene!!

Modern, beautifully decorated in European style, only opened a couple of months ago, on the West Bank, with clear, uninterrupted sweeping view of Luxor, directly opposite the temple and the Winter Palace hotel. It has its own jetty for getting across the Nile to the main part of the city. The new bridge, north of Luxor, which only opened Six months ago has opened up the West Bank ( the side that has the Valley of the Kings) and the journey to the airport is now only 20mins, rather than the two hours that it used to be with the old bridge. The staff are outstanding ( Ahmed and Islam) there is a front desk which is always manned, a forecourt with comfortable seating and a charming pool at the rear of the hotel. The chef at the hotel is very superior, we had the best traditional Egyptian meal that we have had in any of our trips to Egypt, served on an elegant terrace overlooking the river. There is also a top sunbathing deck with comfortable sun loungers. I would choose one of the front rooms as they have a large balcony and very comfortable seating. ( they do not serve alcohol, so if you fancy a glass of wine on the terrace I suggest you pick it up at the Luxor duty free )

The team at Neferu are something else !! Shoutout to Ahmed, Islam and the other receptionist who helped us during our stay 💗.

The service is exceptional, definitely the best we have had so far in Egypt, and even our home country Australia. The guys really go above and beyond to make their guests happy.

They are always happy to help with a smile or just a friendly chat.

We don’t normally leave reviews but after staying here we felt compelled to.

We stayed in a room right by the pool and really loved it, though if you want a room facing the nile there are plenty, and a 360° Rooftop with beautiful modern furniture, where they serve breakfast (which is very fresh and huge !).

On our last day we had to leave early in the morning, before breakfast. They very kindly organised a very generously sized ‘breakfast box’ for us!

They also were amazing at helping to organise getting around luxor with motorboats and taxis for fair prices. Being on the west bank you will most likely need to get a water taxi, it is inexpensive at 100LE and the jetty is directly across from the hotel.

If you are interested in doing a hot air balloon it’s a prime location to stay here, it is only 10-15 minutes from the site, if you stay on the east bank it may take 30-40 minutes and you will have to get up much earlier (4am).
