Boutique hotel Neferu Stay

Ottima colazione, staff estremamente gentile, disponibile e simpatico. Magnifica veduta sul Nilo e Luxor. Ideale per la Valle dei re e tutte le tombe. Fatevi portare a Medinat Habu (una vera scoperta!) tempio bellissimo e con pochi turisti. Per raggiungere Luxor e Karnak si prende la barca davanti al B&B e in 5 minuti si è sull'altra sponda. In posizione tranquilla e con ottimi ristoranti. Siamo stati molto bene!!

Modern, beautifully decorated in European style, only opened a couple of months ago, on the West Bank, with clear, uninterrupted sweeping view of Luxor, directly opposite the temple and the Winter Palace hotel. It has its own jetty for getting across the Nile to the main part of the city. The new bridge, north of Luxor, which only opened Six months ago has opened up the West Bank ( the side that has the Valley of the Kings) and the journey to the airport is now only 20mins, rather than the two hours that it used to be with the old bridge. The staff are outstanding ( Ahmed and Islam) there is a front desk which is always manned, a forecourt with comfortable seating and a charming pool at the rear of the hotel. The chef at the hotel is very superior, we had the best traditional Egyptian meal that we have had in any of our trips to Egypt, served on an elegant terrace overlooking the river. There is also a top sunbathing deck with comfortable sun loungers. I would choose one of the front rooms as they have a large balcony and very comfortable seating. ( they do not serve alcohol, so if you fancy a glass of wine on the terrace I suggest you pick it up at the Luxor duty free )

The service is exceptional, definitely the best we have had so far in Egypt, and even our home country Australia. The guys really go above and beyond to make their guests happy.

They are always happy to help with a smile or just a friendly chat.

We don’t normally leave reviews but after staying here we felt compelled to.

We stayed in a room right by the pool and really loved it, though if you want a room facing the nile there are plenty, and a 360° Rooftop with beautiful modern furniture, where they serve breakfast (which is very fresh and huge !).

On our last day we had to leave early in the morning, before breakfast. They very kindly organised a very generously sized ‘breakfast box’ for us!

They also were amazing at helping to organise getting around luxor with motorboats and taxis for fair prices. Being on the west bank you will most likely need to get a water taxi, it is inexpensive at 100LE and the jetty is directly across from the hotel.

If you are interested in doing a hot air balloon it’s a prime location to stay here, it is only 10-15 minutes from the site, if you stay on the east bank it may take 30-40 minutes and you will have to get up much earlier (4am).

Das Personal ist super aufmerksam und kann einem in jeder Situation helfen. Alle sind sehr freundlich, sprechen fantastisch Englisch und sind Gastgeber mit ganzem Herzen. Es wird immer wieder gefragt, ob man noch etwas benötigt und alle im Team sind interessiert am Wohlbefinden der Gäste.

I normally don’t write reviews for accommodations, but we felt so comfortable here that I really wanted to share our experience.

The hotel is very tastefully designed and beautifully located directly on the Nile. If you book a room with a Nile view, you can watch the lively activity on the river straight from your balcony. Alternatively, the rooftop terrace offers a spectacular 360-degree view – especially at sunrise, when you can observe the hot air balloons floating over Luxor. We did not find anything comparable among the other accommodations we considered.

The location is also excellent for sightseeing or exploring the city on your own. The main attractions on the West Bank are easy to reach, and by boat you can get to the city center on the East Bank within just a few minutes. This is extremely convenient and saves a lot of time.

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace (again with a fantastic view) was very generous and delicious. It included fresh fruit, eggs, Egyptian specialties such as falafel and hummus, as well as more classic options. Coffee, juices, and water were always offered by the very friendly and attentive hosts and staff. There was something for every taste.

Speaking of the hosts: the entire team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Boat trips could be arranged easily and paid for in advance without any negotiation stress. The same applied to taxis or other transportation, which could be organized at any time in a very relaxed manner, either in person or via WhatsApp. They were also able to help with sightseeing tours, although we did not make use of this service.

Final thoughts: Yes, the accommodation is slightly more expensive than other apartments in the area. However, due to its prime location, stylish design, excellent breakfast, and the outstanding, attentive staff, it is absolutely worth every cent. If we return to Luxor, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

L hotel neferu est tout neuf et très propre. Sur le West bank juste en face le winter palace, l embarcadère est juste en face et nous sommes sur la rive est en deux minutes.
Ahmed nous a accueilli très gentiment et nous a surclassé gracieusement pour que l on ait une terrasse avec vue sur le nil .
Nous avions un problème de reservation et Les deux réceptionnistes Ahmed et mamout ont été au petit soin pour nous ils ont tout essayé pour nous aider avec beaucoup de professionnalisme.
Magnifique rooftop face au nil ou nous avons eu de superbes petits déjeuner et dîner.
Un immense merci à Islam le patron, qui n a pas hésité a passer toute une matinée avec nous pour nous aider a rejoindre notre croisière pour laquelle nous n avions aucune information . Grâce à lui et a ses compétences nous avons trouvé notre prestataire. Sans lui nous ne serions jamais pu partir.
Merci infiniment Islam, il est rare de rencontrer des personnes de ta qualité, je n hésiterai pas a revenir au Neferu stay ou l'accueil et le service va au delà de ce qui est excellent.

De ligging was super! Het hotel was tot in de puntjes verzorgd! Het personeel, vooral Islam, was super behulpzaam en aardig.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Neferu Stay. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war jederzeit sauber und gut ausgestattet – lediglich ein Haartrockner hat gefehlt. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Frühstück, das jeden Tag ein Highlight war. Ein großes Dankeschön an Islam, der es mit viel Liebe und Fürsorge zubereitet hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel weiterempfehlen!

Heel mooi nieuw klein hotelletje op de westoever van Luxor. Heerlijk ontbijt. Prachtig dakterras. Goede locatie tegenover de Luxor tempel.
Het zou geweldig zijn als op dit mooie dakterras een restaurantje of barretje was.

Islam et Mahahmad étaient des hôtes très serviables. La chambre était spacieuse et propre. Il y avait de l’eau chaude à souhait. Le petit déjeuner étaient parfait! Merci pour tout.

Super tof kleinschalig boutique hotel, super fijne staff en met een bootje ben je zo aan de overkant! Stijlvolle setting met een rooftop voor het ontbijt met zicht op Luxor. Wij waren fan!
