Hôtel de qualité mais avec un service qui pourrait être de meilleur qualité

La propreté, le lieu, la qualité de la restauration

Cons:

Le service laisse à désirer. Retard d’une heure lors de la commande du room service. Relance systématique pour obtenir drap et couette pour le lit d’appoint (résident dans une suite). Service de nounou proposé puis annulé car inexistant (incompréhension entre le personnel). Foule au petit déjeuner avec une population issue d’un BNI. Je ne laisse que très rarement des avis. Celui ci a pour but d’être constructif.

Quite disappointing

My stay at Idou Malabata Beach & Spa was disappointing.

I was wrongly accused of taking hotel towels, which was upsetting and embarrassing. Although it became clear that I had done nothing wrong, I never received an apology or any reassurance.

I also requested a hair dryer, but after waiting for hours I went to the spa and dried my hair myself. Ironically, a hair dryer was delivered to my room only after I had already left, showing poor communication and slow service. Surprising how a 5 star hotel doesn’t have a hair dryer in every room.

To make matters worse, the same housekeeper who accused me did not leave the complimentary bottled water that was meant to be provided in my room, which only added to my frustration because I asked for water.

The only positive part of my stay was Sohaib at reception. He listened to my concerns, treated me with kindness and respect, and even offered me water after everything that had happened. His professionalism stood out.

The hotel has nice facilities, but the service did not match. I hope management improves how they handle guests and situations like this.

Fantastic experience
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Idou Malabata Hotel and couldn't have been happier with our experience.

Everything was excellent, from the warm welcome at the entrance and reception to the exceptional service throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel truly welcome.

The food was absolutely delicious, the facilities were great, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel's location is also ideal, making it easy to explore the area while enjoying beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it by an extra night—that says it all! We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Idou Malabata Hotel to anyone visiting Tangier.
