It was nice!
Pros:

We asked for a plate and spoon since we had our own food. They gave it to us. The hot tub and steam bath were also amazing!

Pros:

Modern, clean and reasonable price. Restaurant and dinner were lovely. (We had four small plates and a side between two which were all great.)

Cons:

The room and bedding were too hot. A fan was offered but we didnt bother, so probably our own fault to an extent. No a/c in Iceland?!

Nettes Hotel - Badezimmer viel zu klein!
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und ruhig gelegen. Das Abendessen sowie auch das Frühstück waren sehr gut. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist an und für sich recht schön jedoch das Bad ist ein Wahnsinn.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer ist viel zu klein (ca. 1,5 m2 inkl. Dusche und WC. Das Waschbecken hat eine Größe von ungefähr 15x30 cm und wenn man sich duscht (Vorhang) ist das Bad recht nass. So gut wie keine Ablagefächer vorhanden. Und die Lüftung hat nicht funktioniert - und es gab nur eine Fenster im Zimmer, was man ein wenig öffnen konnte - jedoch stand die Luft im ganzen Zimmer weil es keine Zirkulation gab.

Varmaland sotto la pioggia
Pros:

La stanza era molto grande e per metà luminosa. I letti molto comodi e i bagni molto confortevoli, seppur con lavabi minuscoli. Colazione molto varia e abbondante anche se non proprio tipica e locale.

Cons:

Il divano a letto (terzo letto) non era proprio comodissimo in quanto i materassini si separavano. É sperduto nel nulla, ma sicuramente informandosi sarà possibile organizzare delle belle gite nei dintorni. Per noi è stato un appoggio per spezzare il viaggio da Akureyri a Reykjavik.

A perfect stay on our way to Akureyri.
Pros:

The location is wonderful: beautiful surroundings, opportunities for hiking, great views. Could see horses on a farm nearby, and interesting greenhouses. The hotel is modern, well-designed, tastefully decorated. The room was small, but very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. One of the best we had in any of the Nordic countries (and breakfasts in this part of the world are usually very good). The hot tub was an extra bonus, we enjoyed using it a lot. The hotel staff was helpful and welcoming. Easy parking. Electric chargers in the hotel parking lot. Easy to find. We are going to stay here again on our way back from the North Iceland.

Always look forward to staying here - the accommodations, staff and dining ... and the view.
Pros:

I always plan a stay at Varmaland on my trips. It is so lovely to have a evening of luxury after a flight or as the last night to prepare for the return home - or both. Add in a top notch Icelandic dinner and an extensive breakfast buffet at Calor. I've always been treated so nicely by the staff. An all around pleasant experience. Love the location.

Bei uns stimmte Preis Leistung und wir haben gut geschlafen und gegessen

Leckeres Frühstück, gute Aussicht, kleiner Spa Bereich, Unternehmungen in der Nähe

Cons:

Sanitäranlagen eher unpraktisch (kleines Waschbecken, zu kleiner Duschvorhang)
Weiches Bett (persönliche Präferenz)
Grundsätzlich jedoch eine gute Unterkunft
