I stayed at Pyramids Hotel in Giza, and the location was fantastic. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the old entrance of the Great Pyramid of Giza, which was very convenient. There are also several nice restaurants nearby.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered a huge variety of options — almost too many to try everything! It was really impressive.
The only small downside was the falafel, which was stored in containers and became a bit soggy. Aside from that, everything was excellent, and I had a great stay.
The people was very nice.
There is a café with a great view, but the food options are very limited. The breakfast is fairly decent.
If you are not a religious Muslim, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It is located right next to a mosque, and the loudspeaker is directed toward the hotel. You will be woken up at 5:30 am and hear calls to prayer throughout the day, with the evening one being especially long.
I was overcharged almost three times the normal rate when I tried to extend my stay for one more night at the reception. If you decide to stay here, book through Booking.com, as the prices there are much more reasonable.
We stayed here with friends for two days and were very pleased with the service provided. From the terrace, you can see the pyramids directly, and we enjoyed our breakfast with an amazing view of the pyramids. The breakfast was also good. The staff were always kind and extremely helpful whenever we had a question or needed anything. The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit weak in our room, but it was probably just due to our room’s location.

Merak Pyramids Hotel is well rated 3💫 hotel just a short walk from the Gaza Pyramid complex -- perfect if you you want views of the pyramids without paying luxury prices

I Had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and valued. Check-in was smooth and quick, and everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile

We had an overall pleasant stay, mainly thanks to the amazing staff who were the highlight of our stay.
A special thank you to Dua who was amazing — welcoming, very helpful and incredibly kind. She really went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. When we noticed cleanliness issues in the room, including hair on the sheets, she quickly arranged a room change and followed up to make sure we were okay.
The restaurant staff during breakfast were exceptional — always smiling, polite, and attentive, creating a very welcoming atmosphere and making each morning enjoyable.
However, cleanliness needs improvement, as this was disappointing at first. Thankfully, the excellent service from the staff helped make up for it.
La hubicacion , no hubo problema en pedir comida a la hora en que llegamos 3 de la madrugada , la atencion en el restaurante muy buena por parte de todos
El día de llegada , a las 3 de la madrugada todo muy lento ya que no controlan bien que habíamos pagado online y nos pedían el efectivo, el segundo día no había agua caliente y las temperaturas estaban a 11 grados en la noche, el día de salida nos pedían 250 por una toalla manchada de makillaje
Buena ubicación, si quieres estar cerca de la pirámides, puedes llegar andando si quieres, el personal muy amable nos quisieron ayudar en todo momento, y lo amable es que son con unos gatitos que entraban de la calle es lo que más me gustó, nos dieron una sorpresa súper bonita porque celebramos nuestro aniversario la habitación con jacuzzi y vistas a la pirámides es increíble es la mejor opción a elegir.
