Pros:

We spent one night at Calypso Heaven and we are very happy, the hosts came to pick us up at the airport, the room is clean and very pleasant. The hosts are very kind and give very good advice for the rest of the vacation, I recommend this place!

Pros:

It was a budget accomodation and as such it was better than I could expect. Location wasn't prime but I wanted a place close to the airport. The center of Messaria was just 7-9 minues on foot.
Mattress was comportable, water was hot WIFI worked well. That was all what I needed.

Cons:

It is better to provide precise info on price. This was about peanuts and discussion about it had its flavour so it did not negatively influence neither my stay nor final price paid

Que tiene balcón y se ve a lo lejos el mar. Es silencioso.

Cons:

Está lejos de Fira para quienes no tenemos auto, y no lo sabíamos. (En la página dice que está bien ubicado.) El recepcionista nunca está. Sólo al llegar y si lo llamamos por teléfono. Pedimos mantas y la primer noche no respondió, Tuvimos que pedir que reponga papel higiénico. Al hacer el check out nos enteramos que la limpieza de la habitación es cada dos días. No vimos voluntad de asesoramiento turístico. En la página dice cocina compartida y no hay. Tampoco incluye desayuno, cosa que no aclara en la página, debería avisar que es de pago y hay que solicitarlo un día antes.

An experience to repeat.
Pros:

The staff was very kind. They were very generous and willing to provide all the details and suggestions needed to visit the best places and the best beaches. The place is cozy and the bed was super confortable. I highly recommend Calypo Heaven.

Pros:

Dinos was super friendly and very hospitable, even making me coffee and a delicious breakfast when I hadn’t ordered the night before. Accomodation is stylish and very clean, great value for money. And the view from the upper terrace is lovely. It was also so nice to stay away from the all the tourists at Fira. It’s in a great location as the village has lots of good places to eat and and a supermarket plus it’s close to get to all the attractions.

Pros:

The hotel owners are very hospitable.
At first, I felt a bit overwhelmed traveling solo, but they made me feel welcome and created a friendly atmosphere.
They gave me a European plug so I could charge my phone, and also provided a soft, warm blanket. They always made sure I was comfortable during my stay.
When they had some free time, I joined them to explore the island — we went for a swim and even shared dinner together.
The location of the place is a bit farther from Fira, but it’s easily accessible by bus, and once I used a taxi booked through the Booking system. It’s a quiet area to stay in, far from any noise.
