Loved the relaxed setting and island life
Slightly too hard beds
Abbiamo appena lasciato Nara Narty e già ci manca.
Siamo rimasti cinque giorni… e ne avremmo fatti volentieri altri cinque.
Struttura molto accogliente!
Nulla
The location is unique and the owner Bassem is very kind to arrange different trips for us.
This is a totally unique place and while not everyone’s cup of tea we had as amazing time . The wonderful staff even organised a birthday party for me with a homemade cake -very appreciative of this gesture
Boat access can be a little tricky
Nala Narty is one of my favorite hotels ever! I loved it from the first moment I arrived - it's such a hidden gem on a peaceful island with original Nubian-style houses and the most incredible view of the Nile directly from the bed.
What made the stay especially outstanding was Sherif's (owner) hospitality - he surprised me with two freshly home-made cakes just for my birthday!! You can really feel how much he cares about his guests having an amazing experience, also helping with local recommendations and organizing trips.
We also went kayaking in the protected area at sunset - was magical, so can highly recommend. Their breakfast and smoothies are also amazing.
I will definitely be returning soon, thank you! :)
Text them if you know where/when you'll take the shuttle boat, so they can make sure you're picked up.
Egenodlad mat, mest vegetariskt. Allt var naturmaterial, ursprungligt, äkta. Jätte trevlig personal!
Ingenting.
Room, envit
I have to wait for the boat.
The owner is passionate about his property. He is quick to reply to all messages and takes personal responsibility to show you around and explain all the details. He interacts with all his guests at breakfast offering tips and suggestions. We had a birthday dinner and he made it extra special in many ways.
Also, our kids absolutely LOVED the corgi and kitten!
The biggest problem is that the Nubian village across the narrow Nile had TWO wedding nights which are literally all night parties going until 6 AM! It was impossible to sleep as the music blasted all night long. Apparently this is a Nubian thing and if it's on during your stay there's nothing you can do about it.
The next big problem is that one of the employees stole my earphones. The owner did his best to check the room to make sure it wasn't misplaced and also followed up with offering to pay for them (I declined). I hate to blame the property for this as the owner is a really nice guy but it happened.
