la suite superbe et confortable, la restauration vraiment au dessus de tous les hotels 5 etoiles visités à Zanzibar sur plusieurs sejour. Qualité des plats et buffets remarquables. Personnels tres attentionné.. La plage avec de beaux palmiers et qui permet d’etre tranquille sans les vendeurs qui vous harcelent.
Le manque de décoration et verdure des extérieurs C’est dommage car cela donne un aspect froid et pas fini.
We had a wonderful stay and would especially like to recognize Khamis, Simba, Brenda, Grace, Watson, and Erastus. They did an outstanding job throughout our visit and were always friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast and food selection were excellent, with plenty of variety and something for everyone. We also really enjoyed the shows and entertainment programs, which added to the overall experience. Their dedication and hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

Staff was amazing, loved all of them. The food was good, we also enjoyed the Tapanyaki (at added but reasonable cost)
The beach was great at low tide, searching for sea creatures and star fish, but during high tide (at least when we were there) it was "dirty" it a lot of sea weed.

We spent 6 nights here on our honeymoon on the all-inclusive package. Overall a beautiful stay, with a few things worth flagging.
The property is stunning — impeccable decoration, immaculate rooms, and the stretch of sea in front of the hotel is as good as it gets in Paje. The staff are the heart of this place: warm, polite and always ready to help. The all-inclusive is complete and excellent value — multiple bars, varied restaurants, wonderful food, and themed dinners with live music that were a highlight. The beach setup is fantastic (pool towels, loungers, beach bar), and the 24h gym is a nice bonus. They also gave us a complimentary dinner at one of the à-la-carte restaurants as a honeymoon gesture, which was a lovely touch. They were flexible with late check-out too.
Special mention to the on-site 24h clinic. My husband cut himself badly on coral and needed six stitches. The doctor was fantastic — calm, competent and quick. Note it's charged separately and isn't cheap (ours was USD 477), so make sure your travel insurance is sorted.
Billing and fees. There was no mention of an infrastructure fee when we booked through Booking.com. At check-in we were told it was USD 5 per guest, but not that it was per guest per night — and by then there's no realistic option to decline. Our check-out bill also included a beer we never ordered, at USD 16. Please state the fee clearly at booking and double-check the bills.
Drinks at dinner. On several different nights: a cocktail the staff didn't recognise; a rosé that turned out not to be in the package, then a second one that supposedly was, only for the manager to say afterwards that it wasn't; and another time I asked for rosé and was served white. Never charged extra and everyone was polite, but a clear shared list of what's included would fix this.
Bar hours. Reception said two bars closed at 1am. At 11:45pm both were already closed. A waiter kindly came to serve us, but you shouldn't have to ask.
Activities. Reception sends a daily programme, but it isn't reliably followed — volleyball that never happened, stretching already finishing when we arrived on time, and a scheduled sun salutation yoga that was actually stretching. Dinner themes aren't announced in advance either.
Gym could use a few plates or basic leg-training accessories.
À-la-carte prices are well above others in Paje and there's nothing else nearby — take the all-inclusive.
Would we recommend it? Yes. Beautiful hotel, lovely people, great food, perfect beach. Fix the fee transparency, the drinks knowledge, the bar hours and sticking to the programme, and it's an easy 10.

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful, and we had a very enjoyable experience in every aspect.
I would especially like to thank Mr. Ajit, who is in charge of the restaurants. He was incredibly friendly, respectful, professional, and genuinely attentive to the guests. Whatever we wanted to eat, he always did his best to arrange it for us, and he was extremely helpful with restaurant reservations. What impressed us most was that his kindness and dedication were not limited to us; we noticed the same level of care and attention towards all the guests. He is clearly very dedicated to his work and represents the hotel exceptionally well.
A special thank you also to Mr. Eric, who was always polite and helpful, and to Ms. Amina at the buffet restaurant, who was extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating.
We would also like to thank Chef Riven for making our birthday celebration so enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and we had such a wonderful time. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and the whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.
Regarding safety, we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The area is safe, and the hotel has a very high level of security, which gave us great peace of mind.
The beach is beautiful and exceptionally clean, and when it comes to cleanliness, I honestly give this hotel a million out of a million! Everything was spotless. The bed was also extremely comfortable.
Most importantly, the entire team deserves recognition. The staff are genuinely polite, efficient, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
Coming from Dubai, where we are accustomed to very high standards of hospitality, I can genuinely say that the service here reminded me of the level of service we experience in Dubai hotels, particularly in terms of cleanliness, safety, hospitality, smiling staff, and attention to guests. For me, that is a very meaningful compliment.
