Really enjoyed my stay!!! Would recommend for solo travellers
Pros:

Really enjoyed my stay at the Alizo. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The location was great for places to eat and for getting in to Rhodes Town. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

This isn’t a ‘con’ - but the pool area can get busy and sun loungers are in demand. The hotel did a great job of managing beds that were reserved by people who didn’t have intention of using them straight away. I think there could be more signage around this to prevent people from reserving.

The rating of 5 stars is not enough.
Pros:

Everything was absolutely amazing, but we'd like to especially thank the staff who made our stay even more memorable.
From the beginning, we were welcomed by Maria at reception who was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check-in early and make the most of our first day after a long trip to Greece. We even got welcome drinks, a platter full of fresh fruits and a bottle of wine.
The staff members taking care of the room service were excellent, they delivered food and drinks really fast.
In the evening, we tried out the food in the restaurant and it was the most delicious we have had in Rhodes. The service quality was outstanding and Vera was extremely professional and friendly.
The breakfast was very delicious and varied, we're glad we had time to try everything. The breakfast team working every morning was polite, professional and so friendly. Nothing was ever missing from the buffet, the tables were prepared at all times and the chefs made sure to refill the food quickly.
Our room was perfectly cleaned everyday and the housekeeping team was lovely.
We truly appreciated the attention to all details and the small gift left in the room before our departure.
We will definitely return one day and can't wait to stay again in the suite 2007.

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν υπέροχο με απίστευτα μοντέρνους χώρους και καταπληκτικό προσωπικό. Εμάς μας εξυπηρέτησε η Κυριακή η οποία μας βοήθησε πάρα πολύ κατά τη διαμονή μας . Να προσθέσω ωστόσο ότι το πρωινό ήταν καταπληκτικό με πολύ ιδιαίτερες επιλογές .Η καθαριότητα ήταν άψογη .

Eine Enttäuschung
Pros:

Das Hotel ist modern, hell und wurde überwiegend von jungen Gäste (20-30) besucht. Das Personal war freundlich und höflich, das Frühstück reichhaltig mit großer Auswahl. Im Zimmer gibt es eine Kaffeemaschine (Kapseln) sowie ein Wasserkocher. Tee, Kapseln und Wasser wurden täglich aufgefüllt. Im geräumigen Bad gab es Pflegeprodukt aus Spender, sowie gute Handtücher und Waschlappen. Der Fön war ebenfalls von guter Qualität. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Cons:

Die Gegend um das Hotel herum ist nicht schön und wirkte ziemlich heruntergekommen. Es gab eine Sportsbar, eine Pizzeria und ein Restaurant, sowie ein Café und ein Supermarkt. Der starke Verkehr machte es nicht einfach, dort hinzukommen – außer zur Sportsbar, die direkt nebenan liegt. Damit kommen wir zum größten Manko: Wir hatten ein High Floor Panorama Superior Zimmer mit Hot Tub. Auf dem Balkon roch es jeden Abend nach heißen Öl und Fett aus den Küchen des Hotelrestaurants und der Sportsbar - trotz des teilweise starken Windes. Das ärgerlichste aber war, dass die Bilder der Zimmereinrichtung nicht mit der Realität vor Ort übereinstimmten. Die auf den Bildern zu sehende Sitzgelegenheit (Couch mit Tisch) gab es nicht. Dafür war das Zimmer auch viel zu klein. Von den 25 qm geht alleine die Hälfte für Bad und Eingangsbereich drauf. Als wir den Manager darauf ansprachen, bedankte dieser sich für den Hinweis. „Es seien versehentlich falsche Bilder eingestellt worden, man werde dies demnächst ändern“ Weiter erklärte er, dass es nie eine Sitzgelegenheit in diesen Zimmern gegeben hätte. Erst nachdem wir uns an booking.com gewandt haben, kam eine Entschuldigung mit einer Einladung zu einem Dinner im Hotel-Restaurant. Ach ja, das Meer kann man in der Tat vom Balkon aus sehen, ca. 100 m weit weg, mit vielen Dächern, Bauruinen und verwahrlosten Grundstücken davor. Aber es gibt anderes zu sehen, z. B. die vielen Flugzeuge im Landeanflug. Die Condor-Flieger im Streifendesign waren immer ein Highlight!
Zum Pool können wir nichts sagen, wir sind nie früh genug aufgestanden, um noch 2 Liegen zu ergattern. Der WLAN-Empfang muss aber dort gut sein, denn wir haben kaum jemand gesehen, der nicht aufs Smartphone gestarrt hatte.
Für uns war dieser Aufenthalt eine Enttäuschung!
