This is an exceptional boutique hotel with, I think, six rooms. The architecture had an Italian palazzo vibe to it, with a terrace overlooking a stunning bluff. The village is super quiet and the remote location made for a very quiet stay. The breakfast was incredibly diverse and satisfying. The staff were attentive with great tour recommendations (albeit pricey).
The hotel is at the end of a road, with the final 50 meters being only accessible on foot. This being the off season, the availability of restaurants was poor. In fact, when I requested any food to be delivered, the outcome was substandard. Also, the hosts were welcoming their friends over the holidays and it made for a poor dynamic. I suggested some decorative improvements to my room which was well received (like making sure the drapes were properly hung).
A small haven of peace, beautifully located — you almost forget the hustle and bustle of the city, as the place offers a stunning view of the mountains, a calm atmosphere, and perfect harmony.
The breakfast is amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly, and they organize cozy evenings in their lounge by the fireplace.
I’ve stayed in about ten hotels in Cappadocia, and this is by far the best one to truly enjoy the magic of the region, away from the tourist buses.
Oh and the beds are incr.
