Perfect
Pros:

Beautiful beach, everyone is super friendly and a very nice hotel to stay with kids! We booked the room with private pool and it was absolutely worth it. Wifi also was very fast.

The food was always good and fresh, special wishes always possible

Great place at Tembo kiwengwa
Pros:

The Resort was great, the place is perfect, the food was also delicious and great service from the staff.

Cons:

The beach is not as clean or beautiful as the ones in Kendwa or Nungwi. Neighboring hotels were in constructions and they throw their construction trash into the sea at the beach.

The location is beautiful. Amazing walk in private pools. Very clean . Manager Amir is amazing , quick to sort guest requests effectively and fast .

We enjoyed the hotel’s peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff.
Pros:

We really appreciated the overall calm and serene atmosphere of the hotel. The staff at the restaurant and the children’s play area were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made a positive difference to our stay. The manager was also approachable and tried his best to assist whenever needed, which we truly appreciated.

The kids’ pool was excellent — our little one spent hours there and really enjoyed being able to move around comfortably without floaters. The kids’ play area was also a great bonus and added value to the family experience.

Cons:

The description mentioned a “private pool,” however it was not truly private as people passing by could clearly see into the pool area, which was a bit disappointing as this was not expected based on the listing.

On arrival, the room did not have a welcome package or a spa menu, which would have been helpful to understand the available services and activities. Additionally, when we contacted room service for food, the experience was not very encouraging. We ordered chicken nuggets but received chicken escalope instead. The food variety overall was quite limited and could be improved.

The hotel page also mentioned a range of activities, but during our stay there did not seem to be much available or organised. Furthermore, prior to arrival we had enquired about a high chair and were informed that none were available, so we brought our own from Dar es Salaam. However, upon arrival we noticed that there were actually three high chairs available, which was a bit inconvenient.

There were also a couple of instances where staff knocked on the door while we were resting—once to place toiletries in the room and another time to request signing of a drinks bill, which was a little disruptive.

Overall, while we appreciated the calm and peaceful setting, there are areas that do need improvement, particularly in terms of communication, service consistency, and enhancing the menu and guest experience.

What’s not to love? The location is prime, property is beautiful, food is amazing and each and every staff member was fantastic!!
