Cons:

On the night we arrived nobody was there on reception, so we were waiting for a more than 1h on the front.
Calling them, lady showed up after one h telli g us that we have no reservation. We showed her our booking confirmation and finally after that we got our room.
So after 1.5h
AC didn’t work as well, for 2 nights
So in our oppinion this hotel is overrated and is not value for money.

Better choose Chania or Rethymno, 2 pretty cities for vacation

Functional
Pros:

The hotel was the perfect location for an early morning sailing from the port. We had an “inside” room which felt claustrophobic.

However, it did serve its purpose.

Cons:

The room was very tired, it could do with a makeover new furniture and new towels.

Pros:

posizione ottima sia per andare in centro a piedi in pochi minuti sia per uscire da heraklion in macchina. vista particolare. l'hotel si trova molto vicino all'aeroporto e su una strada trafficata. le finestre sono abbastanza insonorizzate e noi non abbiamo avuto problemi a dormire ma se avete il sonno leggero cercate un posto più riparato. staff accogliente e disponibile.

Très bon séjour sur HERAKLION
Pros:

bonjour
Emplacement super entre centre ville et aéroport. Station service pour laver le véhicule de location et refaire le plein en face de l'hôtel . Et surtout merci à l'accueil chaleureux de Nikos et sa collègue d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Pour le dernier jour de séjour nous avons pu laisser nos bagages à l'hôtel avant de repartir de Crète tard dans la soirée .

Location and proximity to bus station.

Cons:

Lack of concern by hotel manager as to the care and comfort of guests.

Of particular note is the fact that housekeeping services were not provided.

In the morning I placed the Please Make up my Room on the door, but upon return in the afternoon the room had not been cleaned .

I confronted the manager "Hercules" who I noticed had sat on his ass all day at reception and was met with the simple reply "No housekeeping today"

There was no further explanation, apology, action or offer to compensate.

I point out that this in fact identified on Booking.Com as a hotel and not a Borstal, Borstal, Air b&b or guesthouse.

I was left to my own devices to clean the room, make the bed and scramble to find towels and water.

I should point out that I am a 70 year old pensioner with a bad back. I scrolled and saved all year to be able to afford an annual vacation and quite frankly did not receive the service at this hotel for which I paid.

I hope this is not emblematic of the sort of treatment I will continue to receive on the remainder of my holiday.
