Pros:

Very good room, large, with a comfortable bed and a balcony. The aircon is also very efficient. The hotel looks brand new.
The district is quiet, the location is good, you can reach the old town in 10 to 15 minutes

Pros:

Quiet street. But close enough to the old city to walk comfortably - 5 mins to the Chiang Mai Gate.

Rooms cleaned and fresh towels, toilet paper and water daily.

Plenty of space and the bed is very comfortable.

Complimentary continental breakfast - cereal, toast, some fruit and biscuits.

bis auf das Zimmerschloss ganz okay

die Zimmer waren sauber, ruhiges Viertel, in Ordnung für einen kurzen Aufenthalt

Cons:

Wir haben für ein kaputtes Zimmerschloss bezahlen müssen, welches beim zweiten mal Zusperren ohne unser Verschulden kaputtgegangen ist. Man hat leider den Eindruck dass man extra schlechte billige Schlösser kauft (es gab auch keinen Beleg vom Handwerker der uns verrechnet wurde). Der Safe im Zimmer war nicht angebracht sondern nur in den Kasten gelegt. Außerdem war es ziemlich hellhörig und im Erdgeschoss haben sich die ganze Zeit irgendwo Mücken reingeschlichen. Föhn nicht im Zimmer usw..

The rooms are poor value for money compared with many better appointed and located options nearby.

My room was kept fresh and clean.

Cons:

The room had minimal facilities.
The water supply and bathroom were inadequate for the price. Bathroom is a very poor design/layout
A hearty breakfast should have been included, but was an extra service.
The owner (who operates reception) spoke excellent English, but was difficult to deal with, complained often and was generally unknowledgeable and not interested in providing local information/support for visitors.

Great location, lovely sleep!!
Pros:

Stayed here as a couple for a week. Really liked it! Nice large room, bid bed, nice and quiet at night. Had great sleeps here as the rooms are sound proofed, never heard another guest in their room which is always a bonus. The hotel feels like a home rather than a hotel. It is a 10 minute walk into the craziness of the Old city. Would definitely stay here again!!

Tranquilo y acogedor
Pros:

Esta muy bien localizado, aunque cuando llegamos en la noche nos dio la impresiòn de quedar metido en una cuadra oscura y poco fiable, despues nuestra impresiòn fue tdo lo contrario, queda muy bien localizado y el personal es muy pero muy amable, nos dieron unso detalles al dejar el hotel. Muy lindo todo.

Pros:

La localisation parfaite proche de tout à pied mais dans un quartier très calme !
La propreté des lieux

Cons:

Chambre plus simple que sur les photos, pas de décoration.
Peu de luminosité dans notre chambre et le soir il manquait de luminaire pour pouvoir lire ou travailler sur ordinateur

Honest, kind owners
Pros:

The owners and staff went the extra mile for us. Good people. We left a money belt with cash and credit cards in the safe. We realized it when we were on a bus to Chiang Rai. We told them we’d be back in a few days. When we returned, they had pulled the safe from the room and had us open it. Everything was there.

We were there for NY Eve and got back to our room right at midnight. From our fourth-floor balcony, we were able to see fireworks from all over the city! The lantern lighting over the river was magical.

The bed could be softer for us but everything else was great. They even offered breakfast as a special treat for new year’s.
