The staff was friendly and the restaurant had amazing traditional food. The facilities was clean with an amazing view ! Definitely recommend really good value
Spacious apartment with super comfy beds.
Helpful staff and lovely pool area and cocktails
Bathroom was not good - really needs updating.
The downstairs shower room was ridiculous - could only be used as a spare WC which was fine.
Also we had an evening flight home and there is nowhere to shower after 5pm and no inside waiting area after 6pm.
The view
Needs some tender loving care
We loved the friendly hospitable hosts,Kostas and Ionna, who worked tirelessly to make our holiday wonderful. The pool, pool bar and spectacular views were exceptional. A great base for staying in Kolumbari, close to the beach with good restaurants and bars. The food, cooked by Ionna, was very good, traditional Cretan food. Our apartment was a good size with small kitchen facilities, dining and sitting area, a separate bedroom and bathroom, everything you need really, all traditional Greek, which we like and a terrace. The plants and areas around Aphea are lovely, lots of green all well tended. We had a lovely time!

The exterior looked beautiful and the pool was truly impressive. The bartender was very friendly and communicative, always serving us with pleasure, which made the experience even better. Inside, the room felt clean and well-kept. I also appreciated the thoughtful idea at the reception: no matter what time we arrived, the key was already attached to the door, which made the check-in process extremely easy and convenient.
This place really needs some renovations. The apartment is spacious, but it feels very outdated. There was swollen plaster on the ceiling, an old black refrigerator, and a rusty stove – honestly, there’s no point in offering a kitchen if it looks so run-down. The towels seemed extremely worn out, and the bathroom was old with everything patched together. The shower didn’t work properly, spraying water in all directions. To make things worse, the bed had a hole in it – I actually had to remove the mattresses and rearrange the wooden slats underneath just to make it usable. It’s a real shame, because the location itself is beautiful, but the rooms look terrible and don’t match the potential of the place.
Complexe agréable avec vue sur la mer. L'espace piscine est bien aménagé. L'ensemble est très bien entretenu. Accueil sympathique.
Les appartements sont bien conçus.
Il vaut mieux ne pas être trop chargé car il y a beaucoup d'escalier. Il manque un minimum pour la kitchenette : éponge, produit vaisselle et torchon. Un tabouret ou autre pour poser ses affaires dans la salle d'eau serait bien venu.

1st room was of a poor standard,they changed it no problem,2nd room was ok,tk be expected to stay in the 1st room wasn't acceptable it was really dated and tired
Location and pool/bar area was nice, room size was good and lovely staff
Bathrooms are very grotty and need updating, we would prefer a walk’in shower instead of tub with curtain, also kitchen would need more crockery and utensils in order to self cater more easily

From the photos on their website and on Booking.com, as well as from the exterior, everything looks new and modern. However, once you step into the rooms, you are faced with dilapidated and dirty spaces that bear no resemblance whatsoever to the pictures.
The bathroom and kitchen are literally at the limit of decency.
After reporting these issues to the property through Booking and requesting at least a partial refund for our stay, they refused and instead offered to move us to another room—as if that could be of any help after we had already unpacked and were leaving the next day.
To make matters worse, they even suggested we go have breakfast for free in a different hotel.
We are attaching photos as evidence. I truly hope this review helps other travelers who, like us, trusted the misleading images on Booking.

La cosa migliore della struttura era la posizione e la sua calma, oltre alla straordinaria gentilezza dello staff e la rapidità nel risolvere il problema.
Infatti era situato in alto, con una splendida vista mare.
I difetti principali sono stati:
- la quasi totale mancanza di pulizia all’interno dell’appartamento
- l’assenza della vista mare, nonostante avessimo acquistato la camera vista mare.
Infatti, l’esterno del nostro appartamento affacciava sulla piscina e non sul mare.
La struttura esternamente è curata e piacevole. La zona piscina e ristorante è tenuta molto bene e con una bella vista sulla costa. Al ristorante si mangia bene e c'è varietà di scelta! Il personale è disponibile e cordiale.
Internamente gli appartamenti sono un po' trascurati in quanto sono sicuramente datati, in particolare il bagno presenta una vasca/doccia piccola e mal tenuta che lascia a desiderare. Un vero peccato perché esternamente la struttura si presenta in tutt'altro modo!
