Underbar miljö, god mat och personal med servicekänsla.
Pros:

Stort men ändå mysigt. Rikligt med konst i alla utrymmen. Välplanerat ställe som passar både om man kommer som par eller med ett konferensgäng. Miljön och omgivning, suck, finns inte ord. God mat och stor härlig frukost. Trevlig personal. Helt underbart!

Cons:

Stort ställe, långt till frukosten eftersom rummen ligger i andra hus men den underbara miljön och alla konstverk man kunde se på vägen dit vägde upp promenaden.

The location was lovely and we enjoyed aspects of our stay but the hotel itself was disappointing & we felt let down
Pros:

Beautiful location
Short drive to Stockholm
Our car got a ticket as we forgot to register it with the hotel, the staff were very helpful at sorting it out
Enjoyed the bar/ cafe area. Very lovely staff, nice chilled atmosphere and yummy food/ drinks.

Cons:

The room:
No fridge
No tea or coffee making facilities
No drawers
No body lotion
No thermostat - at times we were very cold. The radiators never came on so we couldn’t dry towel/ bathrobes
Bed was very small for 2 people, a king size would have been better.
Very small and worn towels. Bath sheet size is what we would expect in a hotel.
Extractor fan did not work in the bathroom so the room became steamy & humid & the bathroom never dried after having a shower.
Grout on the floor in the shower had a-lot of black mould.
There was a dim light in the lounge area which stayed on permanently preventing us from sleeping.
Pillows were very small and not standard size.
No water in the bedroom.

Restaurant:
same menu every day so only went once & had to seek out alternative arrangement.

Arrival:
On arrival the staff member who greeted us could see we were struggling to carry both our luggage and our 5 month old baby but did not offer to assist in any way despite it being midnight and there being no other guests about for him to attend to. It was very dark & we did not know where our room was. We would have expected to be shown to our room & assisted where we were struggling.

Other Amenities:
We were shocked to be charged such an enormous price for use of the sauna when we asked if we could hire bathrobes. We were charged around £40 which is extortionate when we are already paying guests and it is standard practice for hotels to lend guests bathrobes. The use of the sauna should have been included in the price of our stay. We don’t believe other guests were being charged for use of the sauna unless they too hired a bathrobe. We had already explored the sauna area and could access the building using our room key before hiring the bathrobes so it seems that all guests can access it without paying this fee.

Det var kul att se anläggningen i vinterskrud. Kommer säkert tillbaka i sommarskrud.
Pros:

Fick en fin "guidning" av gamla huset av killen som jobbade i baren. Mycket trevligt, speciellt då huset i stort sett var tomt på hotellgäster och vi kunde strosa runt. Eloge till honom. Frukosten toppen med stort utbud. trevlig personal.

Cons:

såg fram emot bastun efter en promenad i snön - gemensambastu.....blääääh

Rekommenderar varmt ett besök!
Pros:

Rummet var lagom stort, det var rent och fräscht. Vi hade en liten sjöglimt från rummet. Vi fick ett mycket trevligt bemötande då vi checkade in. Det fanns mycket att se i de stora byggnaderna. Både tavlor, skulpturer och fina arrangemang med blommor. Det äldsta huset var fantastiskt fint, svårt att förklara, måste ses.
Vi åt middag i baren, Tant grön. Där drack vi goda drinkar och åt gott. Vi fick väldig fin service av dem som jobbade i baren. Mycket trevlig upplevelse. Trots att det var nyårsafton var det tyst på rummet, vi sov gott. Frukosten var mycket bra, det fanns allt man kan önska sig. Det var fräscht och fylldes på hela tiden. På grund av väder ❄️💨 gick vi inte runt så mycket utomhus. Det känns som vi behöver komma tillbaka igen. Kan varmt rekommenderas.
