Overall a good hotel.. but don't stay in the rooms that are in the villas accross the road!
Pros:

Beach access! Sandy beach! Food was overall quite good! Evening entertainment was good for the kids.

Cons:

Gym had no A/C. Had to work out in +30C... Gym equipment mostly is quite old too. We stayed in the villas that were accross the road. It was a very long and HOT walk 3x a day just to go to eat. I would not stay in those rooms again. A bit too far from the main hotel building. In the description it was not meantioned that they are located that far away. It was extra 6000 steps a day just to get food. Good for the exercise but, yes, overall we had a feeling that we did not belong to the hotel. Even the old guard after 5-6 days still kept asking every day if we were guests of the hotel. :)

Meine Frau und ich planen dieses Hotel wieder zu besuchen!!
Pros:

Das Hotel hat uns begeistert mit einem außergewöhnlichen Angebot an Speisen und Getränken!! Auch die Lage direkt am Strand war super! Strandliegen waren ausreichend vorhanden. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt mit großen Palmen. Ideal zum Entspannen!

Cons:

Es gab im Hotel viele englische Gäste, daher wurde viel englisch gesprochen. Die Animation am Pool war etwas zu laut. Mittagsruhe gab es nur von 12:30-15:00 Uhr. Es gab keine Kinderrutschen, nur einen Kinderpool.

Pros:

La struttura è grande e non caotica, aree esterne molto belle e molto curate.
La spiaggia di sabbia è comodissima, oltre che essere vicina alle piscine e alle camere.
Il personale (reception, ristorante e bar) sempre molto cordiale e disponibile.
Cibo tutto sommato nella norma (cibo greco buonissimo!!)

Cons:

La zona dove si prende da mangiare è piccola e bisogna sempre fare fila per aspettare il proprio turno.
La spiaggia necessiterebbe di una pulizia quotidiana (ho trovato spesso pezzi di plastica, grumi di capelli, calzini..)

Pros:

Amplasarea este excelenta, fiind inconjurata de multa vegetatie, iar plaja, piscinele si personalul amabil asigura o relaxare totala.

Cons:

Mancarea devine destul de repetitiva dupa cateva zile, iar programul de divertisment este destul de monoton si orientat in special spre publicul german.

Una splendida vacanza in una struttura bella e curata, resa ancora più piacevole dalla gentilezza dello staff.
Pros:

Nonostante i problemi riscontrati all’arrivo con la camera assegnata, ho apprezzato molto la disponibilità e la gentilezza dello staff. Dopo la nostra segnalazione si sono attivati rapidamente per trovarci una sistemazione migliore, dimostrando attenzione nei confronti degli ospiti. Ho inoltre apprezzato la posizione della struttura, il giardino ben curato, la piscina e la vicinanza al mare. Il personale è stato sempre cortese e disponibile durante tutto il soggiorno.

Cons:

La camera assegnata all’arrivo non corrispondeva alle aspettative né alle fotografie della prenotazione: era presente un forte odore di muffa e umidità che la rendeva poco confortevole. Fortunatamente, dopo la nostra segnalazione, lo staff si è adoperato per offrirci una sistemazione migliore, cosa che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Ritengo però che le camere dovrebbero essere controllate con maggiore attenzione prima dell’arrivo degli ospiti. Inoltre, sarebbe utile migliorare la gestione delle zanzare nelle aree esterne e nelle camere.

The reception team and the gentleman who helped us with our luggage deserve special recognition. They were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely committed to finding solutions for any issues we had. We are very grateful for their support. The reception staff would receive a perfect rating from us without hesitation.

Unfortunately, this positive impression was completely overshadowed by the restaurant staff. Since we had all three of our daily meals there, this part of the hotel had a major impact on our overall experience.

One staff member in particular stood out for all the wrong reasons. After my child dropped some crumbs on the floor, she demanded that I clean it up. I always make sure to leave our table tidy after we finish eating, and I would have cleaned the area before leaving anyway. That is simply common courtesy. However, what she expected went far beyond that—she seemed to expect me to mop the floor as if I were a member of the hotel staff. This was completely unacceptable.

Even worse, she repeatedly made fun of my son. Mocking a child is disrespectful, unprofessional, and has no place in the hospitality industry.

As for the rest of the restaurant staff, I had the impression that their friendliness was not genuine. While they acted politely to our faces, they laughed and whispered behind our backs. We clearly felt that they were making fun of us, especially my son. This is not how paying guests should ever be treated.

Overall, I found this hotel to be very unfriendly towards families with children. The restaurant staff, in particular, showed little understanding, patience, or empathy for families with young children. For a hotel that welcomes families, this was extremely disappointing.

The location of the hotel was also not particularly impressive. We have previously visited Rhodes and Mallorca, where we experienced a much higher standard of hospitality and overall quality.

Beautiful but Not worth the value for money
Pros:

The palm trees around the hotel, it was very beautiful especially at sunsets, the beach in front of the hotel main building. The very tall young bell boy that helped us with our baggage, he was the nicest of all staff from the hotel and village.

Cons:

So first of all our very first interaction with reception we got an attitude like staff making grimaces, making us fill our information ourselves after our long trip for 4 star hotel I expected clerks are supposed to do this. We noticed from this initial interaction that Italian guests got special treatment like explaining all the amenities, maps, directions everything, for us - nothing. I had to ask myself for a map of the resort.
Also about the Italian guests .. when I contacted the hotel months before we went about the location of our room nobody told me that our “bungalow” is in a “village” full of only Italians, entertainment was all in Italian even the espresso they called its Italian and they couldn’t serve us free espresso from the barista machine cause we are not Italians even though we paid for all inclusive. So we had to drink the bad watery coffee from the automatic machine. Imagine how we felt looking at the pool bar at that village how Italians are served with smiles very good coffee and we had to pay extra for it because “we didn’t have it in our contract “. Also nobody told us that the main building was full of Germans and other nationalities because of which there was at least entertainment in English so the last 2 nights we discovered this ourselves and finally felt like we belong there. So we started having breakfast lunch and dinner there and not in the village. Food was ok, not a lot of variety with main dishes also pizza and spaghetti were served every day for lunch and dinner .. for these kind of money I expected mussels calamari and shrimps for dinner.
Next thing was the mosquitoes, I had to literally fight mosquitoes every night instead of sleeping just because no one thought of placing mosquito nets on the balcony doors and bathroom window.

Pros:

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Qualité et variété des buffets des déjeuners et dîners. Plage à 50m, superbes piscines dans un' cadre idyllique.et très vaste. Les cocktails. Possibilité de location de voiture dans l'hôtel. Situé à 30 mn de l'aéroport. Le village est très animé à 500m de l'hôtel (aucune nuisance)

הכל - האווירה, הצמחיה המטופחת, הבריכות, האוכל, Bravo (גם השיר)!!!

Cons:

להקפיד יותר על הניקיון של השירותים הצמודים לחדר האוכל הקטן (נכנסים אליהם מהבריכה והרצפה, רוב שעות היום, היתה רטובה וזה לא נעים)
האוכל מגוון וברובו טעים, אבל לפעמים חלק מהמנות הסתיימו בשעה מוקדמת יחסית.

A hotel that gets the small details right and makes family holidays effortless.
Pros:

Thumbs up to the management and all the staff at the hotel. Everything is very well organized, and the food is simply amazing. The gyros served for lunch were my personal favorite.

The family rooms are well designed. They are somewhat compact, but this was not an issue for us. The direct access from the terrace to the pool is fantastic. We could relax on the terrace while the kids were swimming just a few steps away.

The cleanliness deserves special praise. The room was cleaned every morning to a very high standard, and I particularly appreciated the small details. For example, the housekeeping staff folded my pajamas neatly every single day. It may seem like a small thing, but it reflects the care and attention they put into their work.

The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach. Another big advantage is its location for exploring eastern Crete. Most major attractions, including Knossos, Spinalonga, and the Lassithi Plateau, are within about a 45-minute drive.

Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday and would happily return.
