Thankful it was only one night! Will not recommend this to anyone.
Pros:

Breakfast was goood. Staff very helpful. NO HOT WATER IN ROOM. NO HOT TUB. Front desk told us to shower in public showers by hot tubs.

Cons:

NO HOT WATER IN ROOM. NO RESOLVE BY STAFF. After 14 hours of travel no shower was needed.

Pros:

A wonderful place, particularly if you love Icelandic horses – there are more than 300 horses at the property.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom, excellent beds and a nice view over the fields. We also had a door leading directly outside, which was a very nice touch.

Breakfast was excellent and generous, with waffles, scrambled eggs, Skyr and plenty of other choices. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The main reason we chose the hotel was an all day riding tour for my daughter.

Dinner was another highlight. I had the lamb and my daughter had the cod. Both dishes were excellent, with slightly unusual and interesting combinations that worked really well.

There is also hot tube, although I didn’t have the chance to try it.

Cons:

Nothing really to complain about.

Tolle Unterkunft am Golden Circle
Pros:

Gute Lage und fairer Preis für Island. Zimmer haben eine ideale Grösse. Zwei Hot Tubs gab es auch zum Benutzen. Frühstück war auch ganz ok.

Cons:

Generell hellhörig was aber auch auf fast jede Unterkunft in Island zutrifft. Frühstückraum ist zu klein für so viele Gäste.

This was a peaceful spot with a large comfortable room. The horses on site are lovely.

A horse lover's dream stay!
Pros:

Staying at Hótel Eldhestar was such a unique and charming experience. As a hotel surrounded by majestic Icelandic horses, the entire place has a wonderful equestrian theme and a cozy, rustic feel. You can literally wake up, look out the window, and see horses grazing right outside!

The breakfast buffet was fantastic — fresh, delicious, and gave us the perfect energy boost for a day full of riding and exploring. A perfect spot for anyone who loves nature and horses. Highly recommended!
