Perfect hotel for a one night stay; clean, warm, great service from staff; comfy beds; suitably sized rooms for two people to share; car parking on site
We were looked after by all the excellent staff, with Azar handling our transactions and orders with not just ease but a very friendly attitude.
Always polite .exceptional service and goes over and above .AZAR is always the above. Has a great knowledge of processes and items needed for a good stay
Lovely big room, very clean. On a bus route and near two cheap food supermarkets. Good disabled access although reception staff seem to have to double up doing other jobs so not at desk all the time. Good value for money and I know from the past that swimming pool is really lovely. Plenty of parking for those who drive. Phones in the room. Quiet and peaceful despite busy location. Bed comfy. Good hot shower and nice shower gel etc in wonderful disabled wet room.
Pillows too soft. Disappointed that swimming pool was out of order as that was the main reason we came (a long journey on public transport). Staff member wasn’t able to guarantee that we could swim on check out day to make up for it. Breakfast very expensive so we just got croissants from supermarket. Shower made odd loud noise as it drained but that didn’t matter.
The attitude of the staff was very negative. They did not want to help and when you was asking something they were very rude and blunt. They were not interested in listening. We asked for 3 rooms to be close to each other this was not met. 2 of us was on the 2nd floor and the 3rd room was on the ground floor. I was charged extra for 2 rooms even though I had proof that I had already booked the rooms but the front of house member of staff was not accommodating at all. I checked me bank account later to see I had been charged for my original price and 2 extra rooms. When I went back to explain this, the member of staff asked me to show her proof to which I provided and then said she would speak to her manager to see if we would be able to get a refund. The manager came out and was quite abrupt also saying that if he was to refund me and then find out we had not paid for the rooms then they would still have to charge the card. Proof was shown that I had already paid for the 3 rooms back in January and the error was on there part. Yes I was given a refund however I did not appreciate the attitude of the staff. I understand the job can be hard however maybe staff should have more training and understanding on how different booking systems work.

This is a very good facility. The only problem (which wasn't their fault) was that the boiler was working properly so you could not use the swimming pool or sauna. On the second day of our stay you couldn't use the steam room either due to staff sickness. Breafast is out of this world. I have never seen a better choice including glueten free cornflakes; bread/crossiants and vegan sausages. Eggs can be done to order i.e. poached and there are pancakes and omellts that can be ordered.

Very big room which was clean and warm. All the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful.

The warm welcome from the excellent staff, free parking, reasonably priced drinks. Good breakfast plenty of options. Good sized room.
The heat in the corridor was a little too much, we felt. We had a room facing the dual carriageway, with the window open it can be noisy. No good on that side for light sleepers.
Location & room size.
The pool was closed which was disappointing. We booked this hotel for the swim and was not notified that it was not open when booking.
Not impressed. Booked for the facilities and no pool or jacuzzi open. The gym I could fit in my lounge! The TV older than me!! Spa treatment closed. The wait at the bar, well, I had more chance in a desert! On a good note, the breakfast choice is amazing and for half board ( if facilities available) would be acceptable. Overall, clean and comfortable

Checking in and out was easy, managed by friendly and helpful staff. There were more facilities than I expected and the public areas were attractively decorated. Our room was simple but perfectly good.
My evening meal was awful. My son had a basic burger and that was very good but the much hyped Beef Shin Rigatoni was the worst pasta dish I have ever been served. The sauce was thinner than soup and the pasta was so soggy it wouldn`t stay on my fork. My advice is to stick to the basics. They were good and also good value.
The room was clean with a well-functioning air condition. Very comfortable bed. It's convenient that they have a good restaurant and a bar. The breakfast is very good with a large selection. The staff was very friendly. Enough parking spaces.
