Tolerable for a few nights but not my first choice.
Pros:

The location is great and felt safe. lobby is beautiful. Staff is helpful.

Cons:

Our shower did not work and required it to be worked on for over an hour. Once it did start working there were issues with the curtain length being too short causing water to spill onto the floor.
Room is outdated but comfortable. Limited outlets. No microwave.

Pros:

Lhotel était bien situé et facile à acceder aux alentours . La chambre était correct , voir dessous ce qui ne va pas.

Cons:

Les lits , étaient un peu etroit pour un couple . Pas de torchon dans le kitchenette , pas de cafetière . A reflechir pour améliorer , car les prix des chambres ne sont pas données. Merci

Pros:

The hotel offers a wonderful view of the park's greenery from the lanai. I had breakfast on the lanai every day. The sound of birds singing made it taste even better than usual.
Because it is easily accessible from the main street, I didn't feel much danger when taking evening walks or shopping.

Nice studio on a great location in Waikiki
Pros:

The studio has a good bed and a very well equipped kitchen. My balcony had a lovely view over the park and with the ocean visible, making it a very nice place to enjoy breakfast during sunrise, relax during the day, or watch the sunset. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The kitchen does not have a kettle and with a large suitcase open, the studio easily gets a bit crowded. But these are minor points and I would happily stay again.

ハワイの風が感じられる家
Pros:

隣にある公園の木々がラナイから見ることができ、ホテルというより一軒家のような感覚が良かった。自宅にいるような感覚だった。ラナイでお昼寝しているとハワイの気持ちの良い風が吹いてとてもくつろいだ時間を過ごすことが出来た。

Cons:

海から遠かったので、ハワイに行って気軽に海に行くことが出来なかった。部屋にあるテレビからネットフリックスやアップルTVが見れたのでくつろぎすぎて外に出るのが億劫になった。

Enjoyed our stay until plans changed. Will NOT stay here again. Poor customer service.

Our family vacation to Hawaii was amazing. During our stay in Waikiki we booked accommodation in 4 separate hotels. Our last stay was at the Luana Hotel due to its amenities such as a kitchenette, pool and large patio. We splurged on this 4 night stay to end our trip on a positive note. However, it did not end as expected. Due to a large snowstorm impacting most of the US and Canada we were forced to cut our trip short in order to make it home for work and school on time. Upon checkout we notified the front desk of the change in plans hoping for some reprieve on the cost of the last nights stay. The clerk mentioned because we booked through Expedia, they would have to contact the hotel for more information. The process to do so was a bit of an inconvenience but to save some money it was worth the extra step. After Expedia contacted the hotel we were told because we missed the checkout time there was nothing they could do. Which is very poor customer service. Our flight change was out of our control but we received no empathy, understanding or flexibility from the hotel. We very much were enjoying our stay at the Luana Hotel but that one action completely changed our experience. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone or stay here again. It was not worth the cost of upgrading to the family suite or staying somewhere where the bottom line was more important than the customer and their experience.
