A prepayment deposit via bank transfer or PayPal is required to secure your reservation. The property will contact you after you book to provide any transfer instructions.

Please note that a maximum of 1 dog can be accommodated in two of the Comfort Double Rooms. This is subject to availability and by prior arrangement only, with an additional fee of EUR 17.50 per night. There is a separate entrance and dogs are not allowed in the other areas of the property.

Some of the apartments are located outside of the hotel.

Zeer ontgoochelend en ondermaats. We hebben ons nog nooit zo ‘niet welkom’ gevoeld.
Cons:

We waren daar met het gezin (2 kinderen van 7 en 10) om oud op nieuw te vieren. Het was ons niet duidelijk dat er voor oudjaar in de bar gereserveerd moest worden. Toen we om 17.00 u aankwamen werd ons door een onvriendelijke medewerker duidelijk gemaakt dat er geen plaats was voor ons, zelfs niet voor een drankje en werden we zonder veel woorden naar onze kamer verwezen. Het was dus niet mogelijk om op oudjaar als gast in het hotel waar je geboekt had iets te drinken. Laat staan iets te eten. We hebben noodgedwongen een andere plek moeten zoeken omdat we in het hotel waar we logeerden niet welkom waren! Ook gebruik van de ‘welnessfaciliteiten’ was niet mogelijk. Tenzij op 1 januari om 8 uur in de ochtend maar dan was ontbijten niet mogelijk. De slaapzetel in de familiekamer is ook duidelijk aan vernieuwing toe. We hadden voor 2 dagen geboekt en zijn na 1 nacht vertrokken. We hebben onze gerieven duidelijk gemaakt bij vertrek en later ook aan de verantwoordelijke per mail. Na ongeveer 2 weken en een reminder kregen we reactie. En dat was niet wat we gehoopt hadden…

Op zicht een aardig hotel, maar met zwak management.
Pros:

De ligging is prima, echter de dichtstbijzijnde parkeergarage is op 15 minuten lopen.

Cons:

De beveiliging is onder de maat. Geen nachtportier in het pand en een buitendeur die tijdens de avond openstond.
Bij een incident met indringers in de nacht werd door de “manager” lauw en niet adequaat gereageerd.

De kamer zag erg netjes uit, alles was goed schoon en het bed lag lekker. Het ontbijt was lekker en de service was uitstekend tijdens het ontbijt.

Zeer mooi en mooie locatie
Pros:

De locatie was super, mooi in het centrum van Middelburg

Cons:

Hadden gevraagd om rekening mee te houden met het ontbijt omdat mijn vriendin zwanger is.

Door een taal communicatie fout ( Engelse medewerker) is dit niet goed gegaan

Veel te duur voor een kamer waar geen kast in staat om je kleding op te hangen . Een wc zonder muur en 1 hele kleine was

Mooie locatie en sfeervol ingerichte lounge

Cons:

Het personeel had het te druk om ons te helpen bij binnenkomst. Niet vriendelijk behalve de dame die de leiding had bij het ontbijt .
We wilde even buiten zitten maar ze wilde het haardje niet aanzetten .

Eén ‘groot’ licht in de hotelkamer om even dingen te zoeken die op de grond waren gevallen, ontbrak.

Pros:

Moderne ingerichte kamer met behoud van authentieke details van het monumentale pand. Zeer comfortabel, heerlijk (groot) bed. Ik sliep in kamer 1 op de begane grond.

Super ontbijt en personeel erg gastvrij en behulpzaam.

Cons:

De kerstversiering buiten mag van mij eind januari wel weg ;-)

Fantastisch!
Pros:

Het ontbijt en het niet zo massale vonden wij erg fijn. Verder was alles erg schoon en het personeel erg vriendelijk.

Cons:

Misschien de isolatie. Het is soms iets gehorig. Je moet geen buren naast je hebben met luid gedrag. Dan is het verstandig om oordopjes mee te nemen.
