Good, Clean
Check in & Check out customer service are only 1-2 people making the process very slow.
The water from the bath up not clean
The location is great. The hotel room was clean and big. We were granted to have the river view so we appreciate that a lot. ☺️The room cleaning staff was very good at cleaning and they kindly hang our wet clothes by the window to dry. We were so touched. 😊 Moreover, a lot of coffee shops around the area if you are a coffee lover, it’s a good place for you. 👍
The keycards didn’t work sometimes.
Breakfast good with more choices
The lift to 25 floor take too long
Alles andere leider eher.... neeeee....
Old antiqued system for lights, tv a/c in night stand.. sucks..
Friendly staff
The building was being painted so the pool area was covered and restricted. No prior notice was given.
Staff and facility excellent.
We recently stayed at Centara Riverside Chiang Mai for 7 nights and overall had a lovely experience💛
- Smooth check-in & surprise upgrade
We arrived a little early, and the front desk staff kindly checked whether our room was ready. To our surprise, we were upgraded during check-in, which was such a wonderful way to begin our 7-night stay.
- Kind and helpful staff
The team was consistently warm and welcoming. A special mention to the staff member who assisted with our luggage — he gave us a little tour of the room and shared suggestions of places to visit. Because of his recommendation, we visited Doi Suthep, which became one of the highlights of our trip.
- Thoughtful touches
We were welcomed with a complimentary fruit bowl and a sweet note in our room. With Chinese/Lunar New Year approaching, the lantern decorations were beautiful, and the staff even personally delivered tangerines/pomelos to the rooms — such a meaningful gesture.
- Food & breakfast
The lobby restaurant offered delicious meals at great value for money — generous portions and very good quality. We also opted for the breakfast-included package, and the variety each morning was impressive.
- Spacious room & views
Our room was very spacious, and being on the 20th floor meant we had exceptional views — peaceful and scenic.
We share these gently, as the hotel truly has potential💛
- Carpet smell
There was a noticeable smell in the hallway carpets and inside the room, which caused some sinus irritation. We managed by using scented candles and diffusers, which helped. Perhaps adding subtle fresh scents in the hallways or refreshing the carpets could enhance the experience greatly.
- Housekeeping details
While our room was generally kept neat, small threads or dust remained even after cleaning. It may help to review vacuum equipment or cleaning checks. One day, toilet paper wasn’t replenished and tissues were placed instead — perhaps supplies had run low, but clearer attention to these details would improve consistency.
- A little TLC in the bathrooms/rooms
The shower walls and certain areas of the bathroom could benefit from some refreshing. We also noticed occasional drain smells when toilets were flushed from higher floors, and the flushing system felt slightly weak at times. Small maintenance updates could make a big difference.
- Restaurant availability & communication
Although the food was excellent, several menu items were unavailable during our stay. Additionally, for about three days, certain restaurant areas were booked for private events. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated in advance so guests could plan accordingly.
Overall, we truly appreciated the kindness of the staff and the warmth of our stay. With a few maintenance improvements and small communication adjustments, this hotel could easily elevate the experience even further.
Thank you to the team for a memorable visit to Chiang Mai💚
