It was acceptable
Pros:

Breakfast had a large selection. The room, like most of the hotel, was what I would describe as dated elegance. I had a junior suite which was large and had a fantastic view. The gym is large with a mix of old and newer equipment, the pool is not huge but not small. No one seems to have lunch onsite but I had some of the best dim sum I've ever eaten there. Dinner is ok. The lobby bar had live music a couple nights a week. The staff was fantastic. I never had an issue with the wifi.

Cons:

The location was the thing I didn't like the most since it was a bit far from town, though there is a nice little cafe across the street that I enjoyed getting coffee at since the lobby cafe is a Starbucks (yuck). A lot of people stay there so the elevators can get crazy at times, just like breakfast. The steam room was broken. The uv window coverings were so old they were disintegrating. Also some of the windows had gaps which created a bug infestation on the sill behind the curtains. It was really weird, sometimes they were there and sometimes it seemed as it they were never there. The hallways have carpet which is good for sound absorption but there are crazy stains. It was probably a really fancy hotel 20 years ago and it's still ok, they just haven't updated hardly anything in terms of decor except the bedding.

Not my first stay in Centara Riverside hotel,I have been here many times during 10 years.
Pros:

Excellent buffet breakfast,with nice selection of local and international meals,fruits,pastries,coffees,teas,drinks, breads,etc

Cons:

Nothing,everything was perfect including huge breakfast area and terrace with the river view
