Pros:

I booked the tatami room with a view and it was fantastic. The view is outstanding, the beanbags and tatami mats are cozy, and the beds are super soft and comfortable. The aircon is somewhat loud, but it does keep the room at a very pleasant temperature and prevents the windows from developing condensation. The bath and toilet are well maintained too.

If you want an even greater view of the city, you can easily hike mount Inasa from the hotel, and I strongly urge you to do so.

One negative though. The laundry facilities require that you bring your own detergent, and I cannot imagine many travellers do so. As such, I suggest you plan your laundry schedule around this. Had I known this beforehand, I would have made sure to handle my laundry at the hotel prior to heading to Nagasaki. Still, a minor issue, and an overall great hotel to stay at. As Nagasaki city is small, I recommend hiking some of the nearby mountains for different views over the city. Everything is well within walking distance.

Family visit to Nagasaki
Pros:

The hotel has fantastic views of Nagasaki's skyline and a very friendly staff. Our room had traditional tatami flooring with modern conveniences and plenty of room for all four of us. The on-site public bath was a nice bonus.

Cons:

The hotel is a bit far from downtown Nagasaki, so one needs to use the buses, hire a taxi, or bring a rental car to visit any of the major attractions. Unlike many Japanese tourist hotels, virtually all communications and signage are in Japanese only.

Beautiful rooms that are spacious, must stay.
Pros:

Magnificent and beautifully appointed rooms, great location with next door popular takoyaki and onomiyaki business. Great for walking with hilly environment. Staff were great.

絶景と快適を高コスパでゲット。

景色(夜景)！スタッフの方の丁寧な対応！お部屋のオシャレさ、清潔さ！お風呂！駐車場の便利さ。
