Gorgeous stay in Waikīkī - perfect location & wonderful hotel.
Pros:

Lovely property - our room was really nice & the pool area was great too. The food that they served was delicious. They had a great bar and coffee shop. Nothing was too much hassle and the staff were great. Would definitely stay again!

Pros:

Warm, welcoming, relaxing vibe. Had everything I needed for a short, cozy, resort getaway. Appreciated nice touches like free, reef-safe sunscreen & aloe.

Cons:

The mattress and pillows could have been comfier for me. The mattress was a bit too springy and pillows too squishy for my tastes.

Great Value Optipn
Pros:

The room we stayed in was very comfortable, and cute and comfortable. The pool was also a very nice size and there were three places to eat and drink if you want. It’s also a very short walk to the beach, which was great for us. They also offered boogie boards, towels, and chairs etc. for guests staying at the hotel!

Cons:

I personally did not like that our room would not be cleaned until about 3-4, since that was usually when we wanted to relax from the sun a bit. I also want it to be clear parking is valet only, so parking may need to be considered when budgeting at this place.

Pros:

I had such a wonderful stay at the Wayfinder Waikiki! The hotel had such a fun, relaxed vibe, and I really enjoyed having drinks poolside. My room was peaceful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets felt so nice to lay in after a long day exploring. I also loved being able to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy a meal. Having daily room cleaning available if needed was another great touch.

A special thank you to the manager, Wade, for showing me some grace and kindness during my longer stay by helping me with a manager’s discount on parking. That gesture genuinely meant a lot to me and made a difference during my trip.

I also tried poke for the first time here and it was soooo good! Overall, I had a great experience and really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere, comfort, and hospitality. Thank you for making my stay in Waikiki such an enjoyable one!

Cons:

The ice machine was kinda loud by our room. Our sink often clogged up. Wish breakfast was better tasting.

Some rooms are infested with flying termites
Pros:

Wayfinder is a lovely hotel boutique hotel, the design details are stunning with a great coffee shop, restaurant, pool and amenities. Staff are very friendly.

Cons:

Unfortunately, during my first night at the hotel my room was overtaken by a swarm (dozens) of flying termites in the middle of the night, at first around the light and then crawling up the walls, the floors, the ceiling. It felt like something from a horror movie to say the least. The receptionist was lovely and immediately booked me into another room, but I had to pack and move my belongings in a hurried state and unfortunately left personal belongings behind that I was never reunited with.

Naturally I found it very difficult to sleep that night and subsequent nights for fear of it happening again, and didn't feel comfortable enough to unpack my belongings in case I was forced once again to relocate in the middle of the night. The hotel advised that they would refund 2 nights' resort fees, which didn't quite feel enough given the cost of the room and what I spent repurchasing items that were never returned to me, but regardless, hasn't been refunded despite me following up twice prior to writing this review.

I will say it didn't happen again in the new room, so it seems I got unlucky - as did a couple of other people having looked back through more reviews now. But I'm not sure I would risk the disruption to my holiday again had I seriously thought that this could happen.

Cannot wait to get back - they make it easy
Pros:

Repeat visitor and the place never disappoints; always a good Hawaii vibe at checkin; good views from balcony; super nice staff!

Cons:

I got nothing for you on this question - big fan; but ok, maybe people would say some street noise. My response - then don't stay in an urban beach setting :/)

Amazing stay
Pros:

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Free towels at the pool and welcome drink on arrival. The decor was beautiful and just like the photos. Excellent location in Waikiki. Would recommend and would love to return!
