Luxury Beach Condo with Pool and Tiki Bar!

We live about an hour north and were in town for a 24 hour race at the speedway up the road. I knew this was an older motel and that the rooms are individually owned. My expectations were so-so.
I was way wrong. First off, before we even got there the assistance we got at the desk was great. I think the same lady checked us in as she was the same kind of friendly.

The lobby is actually quite nice. Not super fancy, but nice and bright. The Tiki bar out back was also nicer than I expected. It's January so not a good day for the pool, but it looks like a great place to hang when it's a bit warmer. It's right on the beach.

The hotel was full so we couldn't check in early. They were happy to give us a parking pass so we could leave the car there. Once we got back to from the race that night, check in was no problem (desk is staffed 24 hours). The room was a lot nicer than I'd expected. It seems we got a suite and it was really furnished nicely. I think the individual owners furnish their rooms so some may not be as nice, but ours sure was. There was even a little kitchenette in one of the rooms and the master bath had a whirpool tub. The 2 decks offered ocean views. We were closer to the road, but still close enough for a decent view and could hear the waves.

Don't expect a fancy modern place like a Hilton, but if you like the older, unique stuff with a little nostalgia like me, give this place a shot.

I'll be back once it warms up with my girl. Our fav motel in the area was sold and is now awful, so we needed another quick getaway spot. I think we found it here.

The room was very damp feeling, the sheets felt wet, our clothes felt damp(we even left our clothes in the suitcase never fully unpacked) , the ceiling in the room above the ac unit has water damage and mold. The door leading out to the balcony was very difficult to open and close

Bed was comfy, room was homey, front desk workers were polite and friendly. Our favorite part was the tiki bar and our fav bartender was KELLY! The pool was nice and the beach is right there and easy to get to. they also had karaoke and live music on the tiki deck! Definitely will be back.

Booked 2 rooms, one room my son stayed in and had no issues.
My daughter and I was in room 327. It was German roach infested. In several different areas throughout the room I saw these little roaches crawling on our belongings and throughout the room. Unfortunately before I saw the roaches we had decided to sign up for a 2nd night stay and we didn’t change rooms the night they were spotted because my daughter had already dozed off to sleep. The next morning I went to the desk and showed the receptionist the pics and videos I had of the roaches and she switched our room for the 2nd night to room 415.
Upon entering that room we noticed the air conditioner was down to 63 and pretty cold in the room but it did seem liken a nicer room. We turned the air conditioner up to 73, and as the day progressed condensation started appearing on the floors and everything was getting damp and wet in our room. The later it got the worse it got. The floors were so wet that we had to put towels down between the beds to wipe our wet feet off on before crawling into bed. By the next morning it looked like we took a water hose to the room and the floors were saturated. This could explain why they had the air conditioner on 63 when we arrived in that room, by keeping it freezing to prevent the condensation.
I asked my son if he had any condensation issues and wet floors and he said no but that he kept his room on 63 and never turned the air conditioner up.
The hotel is nice and clean (other than roaches in 1 room), the pool is nice, hot tub is nice, staff is nice, but after 2 rooms with issues. I just wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Honestly they should at least give us some kind of refund/ partial, SOMETHING, for the hassle we went through and going home with damp everything.

It was located close to everything. Didn't have to drive anyplace unless you choose to. The location was steps from our door to the beach. Also, 7 days a week they have live music starting at 1:00 p.m until 8:00 or 10:00 on weekends. Their food was out of this world. Best Burger and hot dog I have had in years. Reasonably priced as well. We absolutely love this place and the Tiki Bar. Only negative I would say is not being able to use the hot tub very much due to it always being full of small unattended children. Even some as young as 2 years old. That is the only thing that needs to be improved or enforced more. Just not safe for small children and many elderly was never able to use it. Other than that everything else is fantastic and very enjoyable. Had such a great vacation and will definitely be back. Our host was top notch!! Highly recommend this place.

Loved the place

We had a wonderful stay. We even decided an extra night. The staff was wonderful especially the supervisor Matthew who accommodated our request for an extra night with extra guests. We loved the location and the tiki restaurantbar was nice to have on site We often travel to Daytona and this will be out go to for now on! We can't wait to go back!

Check-in was perfect. Very friendly staff. Room was ready early.

Loved the area! Great venue, food and tiki bar. Nice pool! Great restaurants within walking distance. So much to do! An elevator went down so leaving was an issue, my room floor stayed wet with standing water on the tile flooring so moisture was an issue. My clothes were all damp. Due the other amazing reasons to stay those things were tolerable.

Rooms were pretty nice and included a little kitchenette which was appreciated. The pool and outdoor restaurant/bar area was very nice and had a lot of tables for sitting and eating/drinking. The bar overlooking the beach was very nice and we sat there each time. Proximity to the beach and the beach itself was great! My daughter and I were on a short trip to Rockville but could still enjoy the beach, being practically right on top of it. Front desk associates were friendly and helpful. The only negative was a couple of large cockroaches we had to avoid in the hall when returning very late at night. Nothing was in our room though (I triple checked).

This was absolutely more than I expected. The staff was super nice. The room was beautiful. The whole experience I had at my stay in. Daytona was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is the absolute cleanest property I have ever stayed in while vacationing in Daytona Beach. Every staff member I came across was exceptional in their roles. It was close to the places I needed to be, but just far enough away from loud crowds. I would definitely stay here again.
