The location is ok, fairly quiet and the beds are comfy. The little shady courtyard is a lovely spot to relax in.
Our included breakfast was not a buffet but a choice of items off a separate menu, which turned out fine.
The pool area is nice but don’t move your sun-bed to face the sun or you’ll face being berated and the wrath of the pool staff ! Also no drinking water at pool only bottle to purchase.
The beach is close by, no shade unless you want to pay $25 for an umbrella!
The gym is old and needs investment.
Although, it says the hotel have bikes, they have one and it was punctured. Easy to hire bikes nearby.
The staff need to get off their personal devices and do their jobs.
Hotel information reeled off at speed upon check in, it’s a lot to try to digest, no further information in room, so listen up!
I had to practically go into battle with the housekeeping staff to get basic things topped up, like toilet paper & towels.
The hotel needs some serious investment in the infrastructure and training their staff to a better standard.
Personally we had a lot of issues and did not consider it value for money.
Not a great experience from check in to check out. You check in at one place then walk next door to another building and straight into a dining room / Restauant. No lobby. First room they gave us was next to the kitchen with major training going on fo the new restaurant they are ironing. Very loud . Luckily they moved us.
Hotel is very very dated. Brown carpets, dirty drapes, broken white tiles, not one window opened so stuffy and moldy smell, dingy lighting. Looks nothing like the photos on the website.
There was no kettle, no coffee maker in the room but lots of coffee capsules and coffee mugs. We asked for a coffee maker and they never brought one. When we followed up, they said they didn’t have one for us. In the entire hotel?
At check out we asked to see our bill and they couldn’t produce one. Couldn’t print one. Kept saying I have it my email. Still haven’t seen it. And they kept telling me I needed to refresh my email. No. I know how email works.
The pool is in another building, up two separate elevators, past a few more dingy hallways.
My advice: There are plenty of other places in Miami.
If you don’t care about service and you just need a bed and hot shower, then this place one level up from a hostel. I just expect a basic level of service— like following up on a simple request for a coffee maker that your website claims is in the room, and a printer for a bill to present to a guest. Not big asks and they failed.
Breakfast was very good
Чистота, номера, расположение.
Халатный персонал, непродуманная система завтраков, сам ресторан не очень. Персонал в ресторане не доброжелательный.
Location
The hallway & room smelled like a dank basemen from the 1970s. Staff were mildly helpful
Location
Tired facilities, glasses missing from room
We recently stayed here for 3 nights before getting on a cruise. All the staff we encountered we extremely pleasant and very helpful. Our room was fine. Clean and tidy. The bathroom though, was in need of some tlc. My husband used the gym and he said that was pretty good. Its in quite a good location, BUT, noise! Omg its probably one of the most noisy hotels we have stayed in. The air-conditioning is very good but very noisy. The windows and doors don't seem to keep out any noise from outside the room. Our window was right on the street and 4am one morning a group of people were shouting and screaming right outside, for a good 20 mins. Also we think the people in the room above were a family of elephants wearing cloggs!!!!! EARPLUGS are an absolute must if you stay here, particularly in our room anyway. We were also slightly concerned about the security in the room. The safe was in the wardrobe, but you could pick it up and walk off with it. It was my husbands birthday while we were staying and hoped to put his present in the safe, as it was fairly expensive, but I ended up giving it to him earlier so he kept it on him and didn't have to use the safe.
I can't comment on any food as we were room only, and we didn't use the pool or bar. Walking into the lobby of the south beach/ liberty park hotel, feels like being in a bit of a building site. They were refurbishing whilst we were there so the place looked nothing like the photos, as they had obviously only been done for advertising. I think it would have been better to close during the refurb, rather than have guests going under ladders and through dirty dusty areas to get to our room. This hotel was fine for 3 days but had we been staying longer we would have been quite disappointed . So as I said at the beginning the staff were great but the photos on line are very misleading at the moment anyway. Hopefully when the refurbishment is finished it will feel more like a hotel and less like a building site.
Just a note to add after we checked out we were charged over £100 , when we specifically asked twice if there were any extra charges before leaving, and were told, No. I am yet to find out what the charge was for.
Location was close to beach and restaurants
The bathrooms were small and didn’t offer much counter space. The hairdryer in our room wasn’t working. We called and went to the desk to ask for a new one… more than 24 hours before we checked out and we never received one.
the room was really spacious. the beds and pillows were comfortable. the room was clean.
The facilities and room was excellent, very clean and comfortable.
I think that there could have been more information in regards to the amenities, for example: pool opening and closing time. Additionally some information cards about what there is to do in Miami would’ve been very helpful, especially for tourists like us.
Inget.
Bilderna motsvarar inte verkligheten. Smutsigt, slitet, sprickor i fönster.
Where do I start? Awful awful awful… hotel checking in we were nearly held to ransom for a ‘service charge fee’
on extra hidden charges by the reception who were very unpleasant unwelcoming rude hostile and downright didn’t care. This was after a 10 hour flight from the UK after lengthy negotiations and argument, we thought we had resolved The financial issue of the extra payment. However this was to come much later into the vacation when presented on leaving with upon checkout we were presented with the final bill. This included service charges per day of $40 which could only be maybe a cleaning fee we were not informed of this before going we did not authorise these sort of extra charges and were under the impression that all hotel charges would be included at the time that we had booked and paid for our holiday they continue to charge $40 service fees per day on top of all mini bar items which was understandable. The service charges were not agreed
The reception is in a different building than the actual building that you stay in and you have to enter and leave through a separate front, which is nearly dilapidated and in the midst of being refurbished.
the elevator lift to the hotel room was clunky to say the least!
the room itself the bathroom mirror needs replacing. there was no hairdryer, we were refused creamer for our coffee which was only available from 8 am in the morning and this was only available through room service at an extra cost. the Wi-Fi was intermittent to say the least and most times didn’t work
the actual router to the TV had stopped on several occasions when trying to watch TV
the Wi-Fi belongs to the next-door hotel the Bulan and as already said it was awful reception.
The breakfast, wow, this was in next doors ground floor pool area which was by voucher only which we were not told by the hotel reception prior upon trying to get breakfast
we were discourteously told to wait and then asked for production of a voucher for the breakfast. The staff managing the breakfast area was awful as regards customer service.
The rooftop pool area was in a separate hotel where access was gained via stairs blood stained and concrete which looked like a staff entrance. The three cabanas on the roof area were only reserved by $50 alcohol usage from the bar next to the pool. The remaining seats around the 3‘3“ depth pool were sparse as was the umbrellas to protect you from the Sun. There were no staff on site around the pool or for the hotel the beach access on Miami Beach itself was accessible via off the main drag and you were charged extra for the use of beach furniture , et cetera like sun beds umbrellas. There was no sign of eating actually in the hotel which was next door as the staff were invisible upon entering to try to eat any food. The overall smell of the building was that of damp and decaying furniture. The building felt unsafe insecure old dilapidated and dirty. The staff were hostile to all enquiries and could not be relied on for any assistance with anything. we booked this hotel through Love holidays.com and are bewildered as to why this company uses this hotel to effectively rip off all guests especially ones who paid over $3000 to visit on a holiday which has effectively been ruined by choosing to leave the hotel earlier than planned and in the unfortunate circumstances of being Christmas and not being able to find alternative accommodation at short notice. were forced to book flights home at a considerable additional cost. The only plus side about this hotel was that the beds were very comfortable.
In summing up, following previous reviews we see that staff have made a cursory attempt to address the issues raised in this instance it would be totally futile as we were utterly ignored during our stay.
with the 2026 World Cup coming up with games being played in Miami do not be tempted to use this hotel as the price will double or treble and you will have a terrible time
DO NOT USE/BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
