Amazing location! Gorgeous views. Would come back.
Clean, beautiful, great food, friendly! We will definitely visit again!
From last year to this year, our memories at the Queen Kapiolani Hōkele keep growing — like waves returning to shore. So many beautiful moments here. And seeing Jordan at The Deck is always a joy — an incredible server who brings true aloha to every visit. See you next year.
Great views, good restaurants, nice gift shop and coffee shop. I liked the 2nd floor reading area. I wish they had coffee machines in the ocean view room we had.
My husband and I agree that this was the perfect little hotel for our trip to Oahu. We sprang for a Jr. Suite and our view of Diamond Head and the beach was unimaginably gorgeous! We had an excellent view of the flamingos at the zoo too!
While we were close to shopping and restaurants, we didn’t have to hear the bustle of people (though we could hear the buses that run) and we were pleased with how close to the hotel is to the beach and the park.
The staff was friendly and helpful, but I’d like to give a special thanks to Melissa and Roddy at Deck. They were exceptional servers!
This hotel is for people who are looking for a clean, quiet (mostly, the roosters across the street are charming though), quaint place to stay. It was perfectly for us!
Our room was nice and big but it was next to the elevators and there was noise till late at night. We had the Penthouse room 1914.
Also there was not enough lite in the kitchen and the hallway closet.
We love this hotel and its employees!! The Deck Restaurant is great.
Very beautiful hotel. I would definitely recommend! Next to the zoo and beach . Spotless and great accommodating rooms. I had no noise issues !
Location, style of room and ambience of hotel.
We arrived at 9am and got given a room but it was by the elevators - very noisy. Got given another room further along the next morning but could still hear the elevator.
ロケーション最高で、スタッフの人がフレンドリーで優しかった。
ダイヤモンドベッドビューの部屋に泊まったけど、窓が掃除されていなく残念だった。
Great price for such an elegant hotel.
I love the old Hawaii feel to this hotel. Great location away from Waikiki center. Next to the zoo and park.
Bathrooms could use updating.
Recommend higher floors, quite busy/noisy on streets.
This resort hotel at the end of Waikiki is a jewel. Although it is not located directly in the beach, it boasts grand views of either Diamond Head or the ocean. Beds are comfortable, staff is super friendly and hospitable. There is a pool, coffee spot and cozy and plushh seating in the lobby. Room service is available and housekeeping is attentive. This place showcases all things Hawaiian in its decor. It is fresh, colorful and simple. There are several good restaurants nearby and within a mile one can find places the locals frequent and where prices are less tourist driven.
My family & I enjoyed our stay here at Queen Kapiolani. Our oldest daughter flew in from the mainland with our son-in-law's family as well. Everyone was pleased with thier staff & amenities. Also, Queen Kapiolani Hotel allowed us to use their refrigerator for the Wedding Cake & Ubae Tarts! Finally, Kawai, the Bellman was always welcoming & helpful to our family & friends. Plenty of Aloha from the Queens Kapiolani Hotel. We will be staying there again in the future. Mahalos again for the hospitality.
That place is amazing and very friendly
Loved our stay. We loved Kawai and his continuous help. the front desk man Koa was super kind and friendly. Every staff member we bumped into was kind and courteous. I have already recommended to friends that we love this hotel. The rooms we had were beautiful and clean, nicely updated. The welcome drinks and the surfboard necklace truly was a beautiful touch for my 7 year old! Can’t wait to come back.
We stayed here for the proximity to Waikiki Beach (we were in town for an event). The hotel has a bit of a 60s vibe (my wife really liked it). The view from our room included both the ocean and Diamondhead.
The room itself was pretty standard. Staff was very nice though.
A nice place to stay if you're visiting Waikiki
I stay regularly at this well-located hotel. It's an older hotel, but nicely refurbished, with modern bathrooms, large TV etc.
The staff are super-friendly, especially the parking attendants!
It's on a busy street and the only negative, like for all hotels in Waikiki, is that there can be a lot of motorcycle noise in the evenings, although thankfully not overnight usually. My understanding is that Honolulu is starting to implement noise-control areas - I hope that it's true. I sleep with earplugs and it doesn't bother me at all.
My fiancé and I had an incredible experience at the hotel since the moment we pulled int. Valet was great, check-in was easy, and location was prime! We were right off the main strip, so away from the noise, but an easy walk anywhere. Parking was convenient! We will definitely return.
Room 303 next to the pool& and the view from the room looking at the mountainit
