The house has no parking spaces. We recommend using public parking and booking a space at mrparkit.com (the nearest garage is "Prague City Center - Samcova 1216/4").Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Prague is a wonderful city, and the apartment is comfortable and within easy walking distance of the Old Town.
1. As a pre-booking procedure, you are instructed to complete personal details on the My Alfred app. This is fair enough, although you shouldn’t have to request the necessary login code from Selinor (we spent some time trying to comply with the request, before realising we hadn’t been given the relevant information).
2. The door entry code is meant to be sent to be sent to you directly via the My Alfred app, once you’ve submitted the required information - it wasn’t. We subsequently requested the code via Booking.com, but didn’t get a reply.
3. As a result of the above, we had to park (illegally) on the street and find the booking office, which wasn’t easy. A rather obscure address was provided, but no location pin.
4. Once we’d eventually found the office we received the door code (which worked perfectly), and enquired about parking - we’d requested parking on our Booking.com application. We were sold a ticket to a convenient parking block, but once we tried to enter the parkade the ticket didn’t work. With a queue of cars behind us, we took another ticket from the machine. We were happy to pay the parking fee associated with the entry ticket, but assumed that Selinor would refund us for the defective voucher that they’d sold us. To be fair they eventually did, but not without first asking us to prove that their ticket didn’t work, and then citing some technical terms and conditions in the agreement. The amount involved was CZR 1 980, which may not be much by European standards, but would easily cover a month’s parking subscription in Johannesburg.
5. There is an air conditioning unit in the apartment, but no remote for it.
6. The TV doesn’t work, or if it does, we couldn’t use it.
7. There is a coffee machine, but the cups provided do not fit it.
We’d previously visited Berlin, Krakow, Budapest and Vienna on our European holiday. Everything had gone like clockwork, and we had encountered friendly and helpful service throughout.

Mutfak ve ahşaplar biraz daha temiz olabilirdi. Depozitoyu kart ile odeyemedim. Kartımda sorun çıktı. Nakit ödemek istememe rağmen depozito almadılar.

The atmosphere was great and cozy
The view from the place wasn't ideal
The studio was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough. I was alone, but it is good for two persons too. The flat was quiet if the window was closed, with open windows the steet noise is there, though not big traffice at all. From the kitchen I used only the Dolce Gusto machine which worked well. The Masarykovo train station is very close (5 min. walk).
There is not parking option to the flat, you have to book parking in a hotel or other places. I guess this is an issue all centre Prague.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist optimal im Bezug auf die Entfernung zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Dazu liegt das Appartement in einer ruhigen Straße, was den Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Die Ausstattung - sowohl was das Bad, das Zimmer und die Küche betrifft - ist für zwei Personen mehr als ausreichend. Die Bettmatratze ist sehr gut. Die um das Bett herum laufende Vorsprünge sind gewöhnungsbedürftig. Durch die doppelte Sicherung des Zugangs (die Aussen- und die Zimmertür) und den Tresor sind die Wertsachen und Dokumente sicher.
1. Die Anmeldeprozedur (myalfred.com) ist umständlich. Den Zugangscode bekamen wir 15 Minuten vor der gemeldeten Ankunftszeit.
2. Im Bad fehlte ein Griff über der Badewanne. Für uns, zwei ältere Personen, waren dadurch der Einstieg und der Ausstieg aus der Badewanne eine ziemlich unsichere Angelegenheit.
