Fun hotel for an evening!
Pros:

The hotel is adorable! Clean & quiet rooms. Restaurant is very tasty and the on site dogs are a delight.

The sauna and hot tub did not work as well as you'd hope.

The location is very remote and it does give you the sense of being in nature. Idelic scenery with a small river close and nice nature. I

Cons:

There was room for improvement in the details. For example our curtains were not closing fully and the outside night light was coming in.

Breakfast was great. Hot tub was a nice bonus with great views. Quiet location not far from the ring road. Being able to eat our evening meal there was helpful and everyone enjoyed their food.

Lovely small hotel in a peaceful location not far from the main ring road
Pros:

Family run hotel that felt homely and not too crowded. Food is simple but tasty with a choice of mains at dinner. Location is in the middle of the countryside and peaceful - but still only around 10mins from main ring road. Rooms comfortable and staff very friendly. We loved the sauna, hot tub and of course the cold plunge barrel!
